Would it be a good idea to run a test session before the race, Kinda like the Meet and Greet we did tonight. Gives everybody a chance to run together maybe do some drafting practice and just see everybodies overall pace. And also the real Indy 500 has two weeks of testing prior to its race weekend so it gives it a realistic feeling. Just a suggestion Oh and also with the tuning is it 100% Maxed out with modifications and adjustments or stock standard
Yep , 100% maxed tuning. No parts are available to it (unless you know something i don't ), so change the oil, improve chassis rigidity if ya want, then go hard, whatever you want. Could have a "tuning/running in a pack" session the weekend before possibly, for whoever wants, or whenever anyone's up for it.
@arakasi-, it's probably a good idea to get a list of reserve entrants soon, for the inevitable no-shows.
I gave you the spiel last night about joining not realising you were already a member. apologies for stating the obvious
Was thinking would be lucky to get 10 on the grid, this is gonna be awesome If there is any reserves, think i might get everyone to confirm entry sometime during the week prior, and thursday evening at the latest, so any reserve driver has a bit of notice. Will add something to the O.P. later Cheers
You make it a full grid If anyone wants to put your name down as reserve, feel free, will get everyone to confirm entry prior to the race.
A full grid in barely two days?! Great work, @arakasi-! Looks like you've created the right event at the right time.
For clarification, when we exit the pits, we must use the pit exit road before merging after Turn 2, on the back straight. Correct?
yep, that's correct. Follow the pit exit/infield road past turn 1 and 2, and merge out onto the back strait, keeping aware of other traffic, so not just swinging across to the outside wall. a steady merge, keeping clear of, and not blocking any other cars. will update the O.P. with "Rules"
Is Racing Hards the only allowed tyre? Obviously Mediums and softs are barred, but are tyres lower than RH's available?
RH's only. Did test sports, but , off the top of my head, can't remember exactly what they did, but can remember that RS's were quicker (and was on rails) and lasted way more laps than the RH's funnily enough
