The mod team throw all the names on the wall and then chuck darts at it, see where they land... lol It's a bit of a couple of things. Generally the winner and runner-up go up a division, and the 2 lowest in the div go down a division. As we are doing our first season with GT6, there may be some additional moves, like some of the guys that have shown huge pace may get slotted into a div above where they would go through normal circumstances. Having the fastest times from everyone from every race helps us greatly in deciding that, so big thanks to Emmo for all his work in that area.
Just letting you all know that I'm back to hosting this week. Will set room quality to 3 stars to try and smooth things out a bit. Will try to have the room open as early as possible, and as everyone is in agreement to start a little earlier, we will be starting qualy at 7.50pm (Sydney time), with race start at 8.00pm. Great racing guys was a hell of a season some stunning moments and all out fun I have had a blast with all you guys and it amazes me just how quick we are all improving div 5 could definitely become the aliens of Oz in the future if we keep this pace up

I was having a good race until lap 7 when I was spun by another racer, from there I lost my cool and it was back of the pack for me. Think I would like a season in div 6 to get my skills up. Thanks for the season guys
Thanks for the great racing everyone. Motegi was by far my favourite race yet (on a track I barely knew as well!). Congrats to Tovey! Just too fast and consistent for us to really challenge you. Good luck on the ROC event! I reckon you may have a very good chance of taking out the win if the handicap plays in your favour! And thanks to all the staff and mods for making this work, even though this is my first season in, I can really appreciate how much effort (and more!) goes in behind the scenes to get 6 Divisions running!
Oops. I think that may have been me sorry. I went from 3rd to last on lap 2 and I was pushing hard to regain positions
He may have a harder time than you first think. Yes his times are good and comparable to divisions higher than this, but the handicaps are based on you seasonal fastest lap at the given track where the event will take place. So if his lap was faster than those in div 4 or 3 even, as he is the only one from the div 5 the averaging wont help him and he will actually start behind the faster divs. Does that make sense?
How does that think i had the fastest lap????? im fairly sure i can see that it wasn't the fastest lap by more than 2 seconds
nah that lap time was my fastest lap of the race, i think my last lap was a 2:18 or something who knows
