I saved it but haven't had a look at it yet to see if @motho appears on it. Might get a chance to have a look this afternoon, in between buying a new car and running around after kids and the handbrake.
Just had a look at the replay, and motho did not appear on it at all. Thinking about the timings and all, everything on my race was in relation to Peach, with regards to split timing and even the final lap notice was when Peach passed the control line.
imagine if it had of been a real tight pack the whole way, would have been people getting bumped right left and centre for seemingly no reason
I've got the replay. I could see every one on track during the race. Didn't hit anyone om the replay besides a slight incident near the start of the race. Moved up to second place without passing anyone about 2/3 through. I thought peach must have pitted. Then on the last sector of the last lap my position magically changed to third. I do experience lag any time I'm near peach though. Maybe try a new host? Anyway, I'm setting up a practice room for monza now if any one wants to join.
Do you think the difference between online times and arcade mode has gotten worse since the last update? Previously I was 1 - 2 seconds slower online, Monza I'm a full 5 seconds slower, can't even get close. Can't break 1.50 online, Consistant 1.46 with PB 145.2 in arcade mode. And yeah, double checked all settings the same, was my first thought that I had something wildly different
Yeah, with a controller would be very tough. The big thing is to brake early and roll into the corners. With a controller i would also have the TC up a bit to stop it wheel spinning. Slow and steady and you should have a good result.
They're some good tips, I think I will bump the TC and hope for the best. No time to test before I jump on tonight
also i have turned the brake bias down and it has stopped the lock ups. Am running 4 front and 2 rear.
This week may be my drop round, we have guests coming over along with no practise. I will still be opening the room, and starting the race etc... just may not be running, I will then save replay, and do results and report as per normal. So I will be there, just may not be racing ok.
