And I'm not so sure about seeing a dominant Merc again this year, the key piece of technology that gave the Merc engine it's advantage was introduced by Renault at Canada last year, and you can bet they have made strides in improving their implementation of it since then (Turbulent Jet Ignition). Plus history has shown that Newey is hard to beat, especially with such a significant change to aero and chassis design. I honestly think Ricciardo has as much chance as anyone else of winning the title this year, could be a good fight between him, Max and Lewis, who knows what Ferrari will come out with so maybe Seb and Kimi will be in it too. I will also be interested to see what Bottas can do with a better car under him (assuming he does land in the other Merc seat).
Silly Season isn't just restricted to Drivers: http://www.skysports.com/f1/news/12...utm_source=m.facebook.com&utm_medium=referral Not the most unexpected thing as it had been mentioned numerous times in the Media since about Spa... but still a high-profile change if this is true.
All part of the Bottas deal isn't it? Bottas to Mercedes in exchange for Paddy and some cheap Mercedes donks for the Williams team.
