Your thoughts are needed! Below is the suggestion thread for this seasons Sunday league car of choice. Please keep in mind that we run our seasons with Tuning Off, so any cars that require tuning to meet the desired outputs will have to be run at IG BOP with tuning off to correctly be used during our season. Keep that in mind during your testing phase. You may vote for any amount of cars, please be sure to add in a tire compound or multiple if you have a preference.

Keep in mind that the cars mentioned will be tallied and brought together into 3/4 cars for the final vote. ONLY POSTS COUNT, NOT LIKES. The Suggestion Thread will close in mid January to allow time to put up the car vote and lock in wear rates, tracks etc.

You MUST be signed up to the season in some capacity for your vote to count, so please sign up to get involved!

    Porsche 911 GT3 (992) '22 OR (991) '16 on SS tyres
    F1500T-A on Racing tyres

i'd also like to note that we haven't had a FULL season with a group 1 car since Gran Turismo Sport Season 5 (32), I think we should consider using one this season.

I tend to agree, it'd be cool to have something uber quick again, with that said, we also haven't had a road car in a while. Both good options imo, but the community shall decide!

Porsche 911 GT3 (992) '22 (SS or RH...maybe both with mandatory tyre change, would make for an interesting dynamic!)
    Ferrari VGT (RS/RM)
Evo or WRX road car on SS (maybe throw an ice or dirt race in for fun??)

There will be an update in January with at least 1 car, but it may be after the vote closes

I have won all my div championships in road cars so would love to not have to drive an understeering semi race car this season, The Porsches suggested by a number of drivers here have some flaws, the 22 GT3 would need the DRS button taped down and the '16 version id diabolical under braking, particularly trail braking. I have tested all suggested so far bar the F1 cars and only the Alfa is a decent handler, the front engined vision cars understeer in and oversteer out. I haven't tried the Ferrari vision.

I would like to drive something fast myself, something Gr1 or even Gr2, or an older open wheeler such as the F1500T-A.

With the announcement on the end of year presentation that Kid Buyers will commentate the Div 1 races.
I feel there would be a need to do something for 'The Show'.
Meaning good racing, maybe a hydrid scenario where other kinds of management is required to play out besides tyres and fuel.
    Overtake button?
Maybe the SF cars. Though that could start getting to the F1 side of things.
The Porsche 992 is very much a hold down DRS, but with the right tracks with many corners it will limit it.
Ferrari VGT is fun and has the Hybrid system and drives well,
The Lamborghini VGT is also fun to drive be it a little more angry than the Ferrari.
Lexus LFA is a fun drive,

What would make a good show in Div 1?

In my experience, Div 1 benefits from slower cars that don't require a "niche" level of driving. Gr3 and Gr4 are usually the closest categories, with less tire wear. With that said, I don't want to cater a season entirely for Div 1, we're Roozers like anyone else and everyone deserves to have fun equally. Sure Div 1 might enjoy running the SF23 (I sure would lol) but if lower div guys don't want to endure it, that's perfectly okay! We'll find a happy medium, as we usually do.

Just so my votes are public, here is what I am supporting thus far:

    Porsche 911 GT3 RS (991) '16
Alfa Romeo 155 Gr4 Racing Tires
Mazda RX Vision GT3 Racing Tires
    BMW VGT RS
Renault Sport Megane Trophy Gr4 Racing Tires
    Lexus Gr2 Racing Tires
    Porsche 919 Hybrid Racing Tires
    Lexus LFA

I won't support anything with DRS, I'm almost tempted to null and void it from the vote, I can see the complaints already.
