So I read if you beat all the Lewis times, you get 100 million... so you should beat them all on gold first, which gives you the credit limit increase and then 20 mill... then spend all your cash and get the diamonds to max out at 100 mill
Yeah, just got all gold and a cool 20 mil. Only need to diamond Big Willow and Nürb GP. (and Suzuka but i'm 0.003 off and i want to kms)
So my 6yo asked me the other day if he can play his painted car in GTS. This hasn't been a once off request. In that moment I was practising, but had a lightbulb moment. I still have all my previous consoles and their games, including GT. So my question is, which GT game should someone start on to begin with? I've gone with GT5 as it has the full set of license tests. I've set up one of my old wheels as well as he likes to use mine. This far its been a rather proud dad moment!!
Mines managed to silver the first 2 B license tests. Was .003 from gold in the first!! Takes time to 'get good'. But it is good to see growth
For anyone struggling with their ps4 download and upload speeds try changing your DNS settings in your ps4 network connection settings. On PC the average speed test I get is 97 down and 27 up. But on the the ps4 my average connection test is 50 down and strangely only 2 up. I watched this guys vid and with the new settings straight away I'm hitting 80 down and 16 up. Massive improvement.
The nostalgic and rose tinted glasses person in me says start with the very first one and let them move their way up. But the first probably feels a bit slow and dated now. The first one introduced me to how awesome skylines are though and how impossibly beasty they could become with a big old turbo chucked in Good times.
I started on gt3 when i was a little tacker so my heart says gt3. Gt5 probably is the one to go for if you have a wheel for it though
I think start on the oldest as it is all new to them and they will enjoy the progress as they go on to the later versions. Car sounds in every room of the house....
I can't get my son interested in GT Sport, he just wants to shoot things and attack with light sabres. Maybe I should fire up the old playstation and get back into the first GT game
My 8 year old daughter was having a crack at the driving challenges today. Makes it a bit hard for her getting in to my SIM rig, it took 2 huge pillows, the seat all the way forward and she could only just see over the rim and reach the pedals.
Maybe crash team racing is a good place for kids to start. i certainly didn't start my 'racing' with gran turismo
Got that as well. Spud struggles with the pace of the racing. I usually give him at least half a track lead with the privso that I don't use the boost pads or power ups. If I'm feeling nice, I'll give him a full lap lead and go full bore!! It usually ends up quite close Thing is, he wants to use the wheel and play GT. He will get there. He has mastered Rayman legends quite well, to the stage that he can trump his Mum easily
Massive BOP updates! Can't get my head around it at the moment so may wait until others do https://www.gran-turismo.com/au/gtsport/news/bop_update.html
And collision penalties have been adjusted! Interesting. New vibration strength control option also on DS4 and TGT. Interested to try that out https://www.gran-turismo.com/au/gtsport/news/00_1354694.html
They say... Is that to fix that "feature" whereby you could bump somebody, then deliberately go off track to give that person a large penalty?
