I was trying Sports Soft around Nurburgring GP, rear steps out alot, also 5th gear on this car is highway gearing not suitable for tracks with half decent straights.

I hope we don't run the Roadster Touring Car. It's too damn slow. Also with the DBR9, I did some testing yesterday and concluded that the tyre wear should be reduced to x5 and fuel use increased to x3.

So if you read the thread you will find we've discussed options to make it faster. It baffles me why people think the quickest cars are the best? which isn't always the case.

Probably should stop that, it hurts the rear tyres.

Yeah but what's wrong with slow cars? I just think generally lower powered cars provide better racing and isn't that what's more important. the racing? not the power output? Just giving my opinion with no issues

Drive the MX5 at maximum power then re-evaluate, that extra power makes it so much better, more lively and more fun.

To really bring varied Strategies in this may just work...it is only an idea and I have done no testing but here is the general idea.
    • 3 compounds to be used RS/RM/RH
    • start on what you qualify on (any of the 3 compounds)
    • Fuel burn at a rate that a tank lasts approx. 40% of the race duration, 30 lap race - 12 laps
    • tyre degradation at a rate where the softest compound will last the tank but has a dramatic drop off.
I think this would work better for the Gr2 or Gr3 cars, anyone have thoughts, pros-cons??

Only new here but I’ve been testing and put a vote in for
    Red bull x2014 jnr - 394hp 550kg RS Tw x6 Fd x5
Good stable and quick car without a lot of HP and weight should make for some close racing
    Open to any suggestions.
