Hello ROOZ ! I was heavily into GT3 back in its heyday, and after many hot races and laps retired "a glorious legend in my own lunchtime" (I competed on PS3chat.com) While I'm obviously a GT fan, I'm looking to start a new racing career and wondering where the tech has got to now. If you've got a moment, here a my Q's: 1) In GT3 it was possble to hook up to six PS2 together using a firewire hub and have a realistic 6 car race (we actually ran a GT3 club based on this). Does GT6 do anything like this (or any other racing sims, perhaps iRacing does) ? 2) Is it possible to play GT6 over the internet live? I mean can I play you from my home when you're in yours? And is response time good enough? cheers ninja2
Hi Ninja. Looks like you've found what your looking for. No idea about hooking multiple PS3's for a lan race but YES, GT6 is online. Its the whole basis of our GT6 league. We currently have 5 divisions in GT6 ranging from the rediculously fast Aliens at the pointy end of Div 1 to the more average pace of Div 5. each room is capable of having 16 people racing at the same time. Great bunch of guys here, great competitive but most importantly clean racing.
