Updated for Round 6.
Before we get to the juicy part of the Championship win, Drop round calculations need to be discussed.
In short, we only count 6 out of 7 rounds.
We remove / omit the lowest score (bar rounds where by a penalty was incurred, these are included into your 6 rounds by default - You can never drop the round you incur a penalty on)
It can be a strategic call late in the season to not race and then your drop round is 0, not a 9 or a 20, etc.
Now comes the interesting part of the Season.
Div 1 -
@Noodles87 has a 27 point lead over
@MINT_GTR meaning all that Noodles needs to do is show up and not come 16th. Matt will need a clean sweep to draw with Noodles. Doable, but a hard ask in Div 1.
Div 2 - Is shaping up to be a close ish battle with
@Hatfield holding a 11 point buffer over
@ADZA_85 with the drop round removed. Adza needs at minimum to win and have Hat finish 6th or lower.
Div 3 - 10 points separates
@tolley__ &
@T F Eccles and another 3 points to
@emmo46 . With almost identical drop round points on the table is all down to the final race here. Tolley does hold the upper hand just with his 10 point buffer. A hard ask for Emmo and eccles, but doable.
Div 4 -
@Brendan-Stimpy &
@Jim_aka_The_Man - Nice close battle with 9 points reduced to 7 with drop round calcs taken into consideration. Jim will need to Win with likely a clean sweep to secure victory and have Brendan finished 3rd or lower.
