??? Why would a company put out a wheel in these times without FFB, especially when they already make wheels with it??? Very odd. Pity really, the set-up does look really good.
I feel the same, very odd indeed. My guess is it wont sell very well, even the cheapest DFGT has FFB.
A wheel without FFB is just plain stupid, I'll still be aiming for a Fanatec CSR at this stage so I can play both Forza and GT5 without hassle.
I'll be posting my Fanatec GT2 Review soon, I can tell you its an absolutely great wheel, much more refined and without all the Forza branding. One thing you will love also is that Alcantara feeling on the wheel, its amazing man, cant let go of it
My friend has one so I've already used it plenty and know what it feels like. If I understand correctly the CSR has an extra sensor or something to make it more accurate, but will also be cheaper and I don't know how long that Alcantara would last.
Thrustmaster unit looks nice but I have to agree, no FFB seems ridiculous, surely they'd sell alot more units if FFB was included, I know I'd not even consider a wheel without it, the feedback it provides is essential imo. On another note, my Fanatec GT2 should be here Wednesday or Thursday and I cannot bloody wait! Paulie, the CSR sounds very interesting, if I'd have done my research I might have waited as the DFGT has served me quite well, particularly for the price, I'll be very keen to see how they're received.
