haha cool. Yea, I did all my lessons there. Ranked up to Blue. My last lesson was in 2007/2008.

Well my first clean lap on Racing Hards has netted me a 6'28.

Which tyres did you run on?

Im down to a 6'25.5 on Racing Hards. Been 2 seconds up but crashed :evil:. Should land a nice 6'23 soon, from there its hard work to improve.

Did a few laps thinkin ffs how am i gonna get near these times....... checked my mods, all there. Checked the horsepower and it was at 689 lol! (i've had this car for about 6 months)

Idiot. reconditioned the motor went up to 723hp. *sigh* round we go again! lol

:lol: You have to watch that HP, after quite a few laps it starts dropping again!!

How did you manage now your on full HP?

terrible LOL. I don't think i'm gonna get near u guys, over the whole lap i lose too much time in corner exit speed. Need a wheel setup with pedals arghh. I am too heavy handed with the accel out of corners, not aproblem in shorter tracks, but this is vital on such a long course :/ If i am losing .200 from each corner that's 15 seconds! lol

might have to invest....

I was on the Race Softs too. My bag of talent is a lot smaller than yours. That is an awsome time regardless of tyres.
Since the corrections my best is 6:38:964 with Hards and edge grip fixed up. However i'm not a tuner, so i'm running pretty much stock. Hope you enjoy your new seat.

whoa lots of replies since lastnight, its good that the page has more updates on rules and stuff now, makes it more finished . ive got 3 quick things to ask..

- whats the maximum horsepower the car is at once it has been fully run-in?
- are you allowed to adjust the controller sensitivity to whatever number you want?
- are we able to cut the corners/curbs as much as we can, as long as its not a red timed lap? (whilst youre doing this you may not know if youre following the rule of 2 tyres on track at once)

That's the way! It's a great idea to have the race. At least then it will be won by someone with "All Round" skills. Not just some TT Guru.

Yep check your lap replay before submitting it, if you are in doubt that it is legitimate then it probably isnt and will be rejected. The rule of 2 wheels on the track at all time including the rumble strip is easily defined. Go to your replay and when you get near the place you are in doubt of, pause it and slowly play through and look to see if any of your 2 road side tyres are off side of the rumble strip at all. If its boarder line we will be airing on the side of disqualification as 2 wheels that close to out is a long way form real racing and this rule is lenient enough already. You got plenty of time to make sure you get a legitimate lap so do plenty and be happy with the one you submit. The 15th isn't far away and this is when the lap time will start appearing on the leader board and you got 15 days to get you time on there and keep it there. Good luck and most of all have fun learning the most challenging track in GT5.

Yep in a perfect world you would think so but im sure when those lights go out the will be a lot of red mist floating around lol.
