I actually have pears on the pc. Runs a bit like a dog (early dev version) so should get an update for it and check it out again. Unless they hurry up and get it released, Durango and Orbis will be out before they finish it. And from the rumours, Orbis won't be as cost prohibitive on release so take up wont be as slow as it ws for the PS3.
They are currently about 700k short with the funding (based on the tracker on the site) and I think they won't release until hey hit the target they have set. In saying that, they received about 400k in October and similar in March so they will probably hit the tareget hey want/expect. I put my $13 in about six months ago just so I could get in to the per-alpha, but then failed to use it much. Now that its running a lot better, I am updating to check it out  Once they can allow membership upgrades, I Will probably do one to full member just to have a NPC driver named after me Edit: fin iPad keyboard fail!!
Haha! Wow. With the light blurring of the track and pixelation in the real life clip, pCARS almost looks more like real life than real life!
OMFG. I mean besides the trees being cut and pasted alongside the track in some spots, that is freaking awesome.
This was taken from GT plannet in a post talking about the tyre model Yes. And for how long and how much is tire dependant and under dev still, but it'll depend on how much you over work the tire. The more excess heat you get into the tire and the longer it'll take to get it back to optimal. Here's a example graph I took of the tire temps a few days ago when I drove a little and then just cruised for a while (without even touching the brakes thus not generating much heat into the rim & tire) and then started to drive again Not directly related to "overdriving" though.. but just to give some reference..
These PS4 screenshots look pretty damn nice! Here is a write up (dated yesterday - 1 May 2014) on the PlayStation Blog about the PS4 version of Project CARS. http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2014/05/01/first-look-project-cars-ps4/ When this comes to fruition late this year, if it lives up to the hype and promises I honestly think Gran Turismo's time in the sun will be well and truly over. Especially if the online racing is reliable and stable - too many people are over GT6 and the PSN servers and are just looking for a reason to jump ship! And if it is that good, a PS4 will be on my Xmas list (along with a copy of this game)!
What happened to the sound updates for GT6? Apparently the current sounds are 'place holders'...but then again, it is PD... Project CARS does sound very good, that Z4 sounds bang on. Would love to hear their version of the Lexus LFA if it is in the game...
What would be epic is if they got the N24 Gazoo racing LFA, sounds absolutely epic with a Proper Race Exhuast.
