I don't want to be the only guy putting stuff up here , The fast guys should be helping out the lower div's , which I thought this thread was all about . I have a nice set up , its not the fastest, but its good on tire's . It would be good to have some in depth setting's , coz some one could come up with that gun set up..
Yeah , that's all good , I'm going to put mine up later tonight . Had to make a few changes to get it to turn in better , But its a little hard on its rear tires .
Here's what I have so far but only good for mid 34's I was given another tune with some slight change's , but haven't have a chance to use it yet , Emu supplied tyre pressures and a few other setting's . Give it a shot .
Oh yeah, drop front camber to 2.0 & rear to 0.9. Make sure you take picture of your set up be for you try mine . Just encase if mine is house .
You make it sound like everyone's keeping their tune to themselves. I'm sure the vast majority of drivers including myself are simply running noxrai's tune as they did last week and will do for rounds 3-7 as well. It would be kind of pointless for me to share a setup that has already been shared each and every week. The only thing that changes is tyre pressures and final drive but given my pressures would be absolute garbage for all wheel users it's kind of pointless sharing. If you must know what final drive I'm running 2.73 it seems to do the trick.
Hey gents , feel free to give some feed back on my tune's , well there not really mine but they are bits and pieces' of other tunes' that friend's give me or what I've changed on my own . I got 6th place , tyres hung in there till the end . pretty happy with how the car went over the race .
I think I might start having a crack at your tunes Juzzy. My tyres are incapable to last. Must be a special tyre compund you have
Can help you out too Zulu if you like. Mine aren't the fastest tunes, but seem to be good on the tires. Get on most nights, welcome to join.
I had a play with juzzys tune and 2 others. At the end of practice I ended up resetting the tune changed tyre pressures, cambers and final drive. Worked the best for consistency for me
The good thing with trying a few different tune's is , it can give you a direction to go with , mind you I'm lost more often then not .But its pretty much how I leant to make a start on where to go , tyre pressures still stuff with my head though .
This was my Snetterton setup and it's the same I used for Donington except for tyre pressures. I'm kinda use to it now but would love to try a different setup to see how that feels.
So being new to the game and an absolute novice at tuning, I've been working hard trying to get up to speed and have learnt that tunes are very personal things, one size does not fit all. After mucking around with the tune on the setups.eu website and ben's above (yet to try Juzzy's), I found I prefer a stiffer setup (preparing for incoming jokes) so for this round have come up with the following tune. The car feels mighty stable and on rails which I prefer but my biggest downfall is, surprise surprise, front left tyre temp (sits between 108-114 after 7 laps) and unfortunately I can't get on most nights to talk to you all so any pointers would be appreciated. Anyway, feel free to have a look, try, comment, ridicule or ignore. Cheers Matt.
