The special event competition we did in these might be too fresh in the memory. It was fun, but to do it again...but longer....maybe not everyone's cup of tea
I do like the idea of using a slower car that is still fun to drive. From what Ive seen in the past, the margins between drivers tends to be smaller in slower cars, especially if its the type of car anyone can jump in and enjoy. The 86/BRZ/FRS certainly fit that bill, but there are plenty more. Im not sure why we never test some cars and see what produces lots of battles and overtaking. I would love a season where I spend less time trying to squeeze tenths off of my lap times and more time racing.
Any chance we could dedicate a Tuesday night (in place of TITTS) to testing some of the cars? Perhaps using the same 10 minute race format, we could easily test 4 or 5 cars to see how they stack up with guys from Div 1 to 3 on track.
So in regards to this, make sure to get your suggestions in and also mention what suggestions you like/dislike and I will tally and come up with a list to test in quick 5 lap races on a tuesday night and we can have a little mini-championship on the night too!
