be interesting to see when the poll comes out what ends up getting the votes. theres a few varying opinions (which is a good thing)
If you guys use the Formula B I'll be jumping ship, though I'm pretty sure the 1960's Vee Ate will come out on top.
Open wheelers could work. The Senna F3 series that was held on GT6 was a blast. (different game I know) Going to be watching the car selections very closely this time. Will be the tipping point as to if I jump across to Pcars or not.
Agreed with @Spidey_11 , open wheel cars could work really well, and I would love to see a season in the formula gulf as they are very easy to drive (on wheel and controller) and it should throw up some interesting racing. Same could be said about the formula B and formula C, but I'd prefer the formula gulf. As for other types, the V8 supercar is definitely a possibility, but I think after a race the inaccurate noise would make me want to stop driving it. If we were to go down this sort of route, a GT4 car would be pretty cool, personally I would prefer to drive the Ginetta GT4, or why not take it a step further back and drive the Ginetta JNR, a car we are all very familiar with (or should be)
Btw @Beau_Albert correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure all the radicals except for one are DLC cars, and the one that isn't DLC whilst it can be fun to drive take a lifetime to get any heat into the tyres
I'm with you Stig , I'll do my own series if an open wheel series gets going . Open wheel just doesn't float my boat .
2 of them came with the game as standard, which are the 2 fun versions, and the DLC version of the car was fortunate enough to be the Free Car As for taking a lifetime to get any heat into the tyres, well, the merc isn't a piece of cake either is it Besides, tyre pressures will be able to sort that out
Only problem I see with the open wheelers is what happens if two cars touch wheels just something to think about yeah
Agreed, but I think it will force people to be more mindful and careful when passing and encourage people to "set up" their passes, rather than stick it down the inside and hope for the best as unfortunately most of the passes online are. Agreed, sometimes project cars gets angry and has glitches, but if we can work around it, I think it would make us all even better drivers than what we are now because we respect each other more by taking the time to set up our passes
play opener wheeler racing irl and wheel tap its kinda game over we cant keep our leagues bubble wrapped and covered in pillows, at some stage we will have to go there!
I hate that bloody Escort and am not a fan of V8SC at all. The Mustang however is an excellent choice if it were to come down to GT4 that'd be my choice though I think it's a bit much people talking about jumping ship if we did go open wheel when I've wanted them forever and been happy to race whatever got the nod instead no complaints! Looking at you @TheJuzzy ! Don't leave us man!
Mustang is definitely not my choice of car it handles like a boat with a sloppy gearbox, the best GT4 imo is the Ginetta with the Aston or BMW a Close second.
I've used it in a series it can be made to handle better but it's still bad and it's brakes are tragic.
