Season 5 Division 2

As a driver who spent a fair amount of time chasing your bumper :lol: i'm kinda confused to why you didn't have more podiums. You have a method of turning into a corner slightly early and micro correcting to the apex and then getting a great exit. One other driver i've noticed using that style is a Mr M Down. Good company indeed.
Most agressive driver, hmm. A couple of us have blue paint chips on our cars sides and rears.

Div 1 has had more turn over than most Divs, Im not gonna speculate why as its not my place to speak for others. Been many great drivers in Div 1, JC Season 1 then Beau ect ect. Be great if they would all come for a one off allstars/Ledgend show down .

Yea everyone Div 2 has been pretty on it Koastr n Carns everyones been hungry but its been pretty fair, one or two racing incident/accidents (my famous one at indy road comprising Chaos race comes to mind, my only incident for the year still feel bad about that one ...I wasnt on it, nervous driving out braked myself)

M1k If i had to vote for most gentlemanly driver you'd be up there, I susprised at monaco you didnt try pass me sooner as you were clearly faster than me. I was still nervous driving with you right behind and almost wanted you to pass me. That race gave me good confidence at Suzuka when u were right right behind that I didnt have to worry about you doing anything crazy and I could drive my own pace...(probably the most enjoyable race for the season for me that one)

Cheers guys for a good race season. Haven't done any sort of competitive racing before but I've found it to be a lot of fun...even with my low, LOW positions. Ah well, good times anyhow.

Well, another race, another epic battle (in which I came out 2nd best, again ). It would be nice just once to have one of these multilap, multiple position change battles and come out of it with better than "well I made him earn it". O well, good driving Aussie.
Hard luck to Stu and Nieshy for the GT5 related issues, hope you dont hold a grudge against my lounge in future .

Good season lads, lots of close, clean racing, its just a shame that I had to miss a couple of them, otherwise I might have been in the mix for the overall podium spots. Bring on next season!

Time to go looking for a car... dont forget that we can use any car in the game now, with the tuning restriction option in the race setup. I guess a premium car would be the preferred way forward. To the dealership!!!

Yer very disappointing end with 2 contenders falling foul to the pitfalls of Gt5, not the way I would have liked to take the race win & championship. Such bad luck Stue and Neishy, and no i don't have friends at polyphony that cut your connection, I realy wanted to battle for it. I have had the most enjoyable season yet, have had running battles with so many different drivers each week and all race. The competition has been the closest i have seen on GT5 with so many in contention each week.
The race; I finally got into the low 229's in my practice room just before the race room opened, and got there again in the practice before qualifying. Could only manage a 229.777 in qualifying and that put me in 4th with Neishy on Poll and Stue right behind me, I was so nervous and was happy with where i qualified any way. Got a fairly good start and had a good battle with Miki, Been a pleasure to race with you for the passed 4 seasons Miki you got my vote for the drivers choice most popular driver (like Lowndesy). Neishy and Anon were getting a little gap then Neishy just took off, it got to 10 second and i caught up to anon lap 7 followed him closely for a bit and decided to do a early Pit, lap 8 I thought it was, but no its lap 7, I think I've blown the race, how am i going to go at the end now. Anyhow i pushed on and as Anon pitted he must have made a little mistake and I got the jump on him and got a 5 second lead as Neishy left the scene (sorry to mention it again Neishy felt so bad for ya) I tried to keep it on the track drive fast but not scrub the tires too much as my fastest lap times showed. As the tires went off anon was catching up each lap and I honestly thought I was going to have to yield the lead any time soon. As it turned out I was able to hang in there by the smallest of margins and take the win. Great pressure Anon and great racen by all you guys, good to have you in Gt5 Aussie and well done on 3rd and a great Rookie of the year season.

I'd like to thank all involved in making it such a great season, firstly Tek for hosting Captain each week, did a fantastic job, Miki Aussie and others for posting fastest laps and race result, real team oriented league, see a job needs doing you guys just do it.
And real Big thanks must go out to the people behind the scenes and especially Koaster who did so much work for all the divisions and other race series. Much appreciated Koaster, did all this without participating in the races, must have been tempting to want to race seeing the close racing and comments on how much we were all enjoying this season so much. And last off all, all the Div 2 drivers what a great bunch of guys, been the utmost pleasure to race, practice and just socialise with.



Have a good break all, test some cars and see you next season, keep an eye out for some casual racing till then Anon always comes up with a good race format and Seido does too.
