don't know about you guys but i reckon on the front bumper is fastest with a wheel, cockpit is most fun (premium car), and behind is fastest with the controller as far as i can remember.... for me as least. thoughts please
I use hood Cam, but I can use cockpit just as easy, The Cockpit views in GT5 are terrible compared to Iracing or Rfactor though so I tend to avoid them on it.
I have always used bumper view since gran turismo 2 (My first racing game back in 'the day'). Still just stuck with that view in every game since.
Depends on the car. Typically for race cars, I will use the cockpit view for pure race simulation, but if the view is horrendous (i.e GT by Citron Race Car) i'll use the bumper. For the F2007 and X2010 i'll use either the cockpit or hood cam/TV pod.
Hood view with the map zoomed in at 3 so I can see without seeing where the cars are behind/beside me. Cockpit view is great but like a few have said none of the driver movements sync properly with what I'm doing which can be distracting. Third person seems really stiff and the car doesn't move right for me. Each to their own I suppose
