Hey guys, my LMP1 Sprint series is starting next week, would be awesome to get a few more people to sign up as there is still 6 spots left for the taking. All LMP1 and LM900 car's are allowed with each racing featuring a special 'Twist' to make every race Very, very different! Hope to see you on the grid http://raceonoz.com/forums/index.ph...ps4-lmp1-sprint-series.1847/page-3#post-90602
I see the mismatches in the divisions. What has happened is like when you switch from controller to wheel. At first the game was weird and hard to get used to, but the more we play it, the better people are getting. It hasn't taken long for those that are good at this game to get the hang of it, but it has put them out of sync with who they originally kept up with. It is too late for a reshuffle, but I am watching the results, and if I see someone who is not keeping up with anybody in their div I will look at what might be possible. I'm talking lap times here, a div1 guy can finish last every race while still doing lap record pace, I'm not going to drop you down for being inconsistent. Practice practice practice. Save replays. Learn from the faster guys laps. Monitor view in practice sessions. Wednesday nights are a great share night for setups (thanks juzzy knocked nearly 2 secs off my best at Watkins gle-err I mean Road America).
So many new people, a new game and a change up in our controllers was always going to make this difficult.
I need to practice, hell I need to play. I've been playing MGSV since Sunday so I don't like my chances this weekend.
Hi all, got some learnings to do from you fellas but hey really enjoyed my first race even though spectated most of it. Hope to become more competitive as I learn & gain experience. Till Sunday CHEERS
Ok Guys Tonight fun night will be 3 sprint rounds of 6 laps (to bunch things up ) I will pick first track plus car Winner of that will pick track looser will pick car , same for the next race . Full damage will be on last race with be no holds bar ( look out cagme ) ! Gates open 8 pm , 30 min practice /10 min qualify .
Anyone testing their set ups in practice mode watch out. Full tank test runs in practice mode are COMPlLETELY different to race mode. Practice and quali mode doesn't recognise fuel weight, at all. In quali mode I can do 207.8 with a full tank, yet can only manage 211s in the race. It also seemed to not notice down force. My car is set on 0-1 and turns perfectly in quali mode, yet in race mode it has hardly any grip and will understeer off the track on the slight right hander after the horse shoe backing off in 5th gear. So pretty much all the time I tested my set up was a waste of time.
Your going to need some down force vk-mik , I've done 2 full fuel run's online and with out down force you'll suffer badly . I'm running medium on the front and a bit less on the rear , I was lucky to do 2:10's online with low down force. Now I'm doing mid 2:07's with some down force
Hey juzzy, your lap time is in free run/quali (as you have 'total time' in top right instead of lap 2/21) I can do low 7,s with no down force/no slipstream full tank in practice and quali, but when the actual race starts the car all of a sudden recognizes fuel weight and that's where the issues I'm having are. in prac/quali my front left doesn't go above 120 on a full tank, but in the race it hits 135 with a full tank.
