cool race guys, went alright at the start, got some friendly fire from cyber lag spike, but it didnt set me back that much. accidentally hit pav off so readdressed that and was trying to push on. stuffed up pitstop yet again, but the second stint was awesome, from memory it was all in the 51s (and one 50). thought i could maybe catch a podium but loris and pete sped up a bit at the end so didnt quite get there.

Whew! :barefoot: That was hard work  but rewarding and great start to the season. Stoked to kick off with a win in this company. Pace was gruelling and it was a great turnout..

After almost pulling up the inside of Internet Vet T1 my heart was pounding and I needed some breathing space to see lines and managed cold tyres so lost a bit of time there and looked like you might drive away!. Bad luck you had the pace to win, and I was lucky to get through...

Awesome consistency and pressure from Shaun,:thumbsup: we were trading 10th for 10th and I dunno about Shaun but I put in my overall PB lap during the race and was sweating balls :p. Gained a small bit of breathing room in the pits and tried to manage the gap without over driving the car from there. Shaun made it a hard task!

Gratz all on what looked like a pretty clean race all round.
Not a bad start for defending team champs TTB - nice work lads ;) Onto next week

Cheers mixed you two guys up. Gets confusing when forum names don't match AC names. Fixed.
    Fixed. Thanks.

The qualifying performances for the first race. I would like to highlight Internet Veteran's performance. He took pole in a highly competitive server 1 with a massive 0.5 second gap to second place Koastr.

The was a massive amount of boys in the Maxi VAJ last night. Pretty exciting night all round. Big thanks to Cherno and Pringles and Stiggy and Rotor and maybe QC and Shaun who all raced like legends around me while I drove all over the track!?!? Happy with 4th, MEGA-Happy with TGM!! Who-hoo, let's keep it trucking lads!

Well, a terrible race for me (all my own doing) so I'll cop dead last on the chin. Sorry to Team TB for the non contribution. As always though it's plenty of fun listening to Anon groan and huff his way around the track. Looks like it helps laptime too (WD on 4th mate) so I might work on that aspect of my driving ;).

I'm just filling the hole left by @S_CLOSE. How we miss those moans and groans, he did a really good Colombian accent. Nearly as good as mine!!

Never seem to do any well when it comes to Fixed Setup racing & last night was no exception. Took all I had to stay in the server & finish the race. Hopefully do better with the next car.

Don't think you were the only one who struggled with it Steve. Looking forward to the sprint round actually and see how that plays out, but all these cars were good fun to drive in testing and worked well on the tracks I've picked. Really looking forward to your R8!!

I enjoyed the race last night even if i spent the most part driving by myself. The first 6 or 7 laps were cool as I got to watch Johnny show me his drifting skills.
Managed to get into the 54's so was happy with that and GO TGM

Definite learning experience for me. First real go at racing with AC, and I even christened the new G29 with it.

Taking me a while to get used to the no ABS, and along with that the new brake pedal. I had absolutely no lead up practice with this setup save for a few laps during Monday arvo. Managed to get a 1.55.2 in the race i think, so i was improving and on track for a solid 1.54 before ditching it (again). All in all, good fun though.

Will be back for sure! :D

i love fixed setup. im too lazy to do a setup and i dont know properly how all the different parts work together. and mentally, it removes any doubt for me personally as to why some other people might be faster. and i think from countless gt seasons, i just got very used to it, all though i still enjoy a tuning series on the side.
maybe something to think about for AC if enough people could commit?
