Red bull 1-2 lol just like F1 today, shame i was the 2nd guy

Congrats Aussie on your win it all came down to the last lap, i was soo tight on fuel my gauge went red before the last corner and i just went for it and damn it almost worked lol.

We got 10 for the race and the top 5 were split by 0.242!! Was in a pool of sweat by the end.

It was a great race, and not having looked at the fuel burn, I had to strategise on the run. It was very close though, as I ended the race on fumes. I was lucky that midron came up behind me 1 lap down and I could conserve fuel for the last 15 laps behind him. It sure was fun.

i moved on..but damn it was fun!

Well played last night Stumbles.
I did not have a clue completely screwed up on fuel and watched i possible 4th place evaporate with 5laps to go, forced to pit....then i ran out again!!

First 20laps were epic, then as drivers peeled off to pit i kind of got stuck in no mans land with no one to draft for at least 60 laps.
Finished pretty much last at 1am...this morning is not feeling the best i got to tell ya!

Well, thanks to my POS internet connection, what should have been an enjoyable race turned into an hour and a half of my life I want back. Got lag punted on lap 2 - put my 23 sec down (everyone was lagging - so I blame the corroded copper cable in my suburb). Pitted lap 15 as I worked out I couldnt get 20 on fuel. Hooked up a drafting buddy just before my second pitstop, only to get lag punted by them too. Came to a stop near pit entry, so decided to pit. Nope, drive through - more time wasted. 3 laps down after 30. Spent the rest of the night more or less on my own. Car turned to crap at about lap 80, and my clean air laps went from 42.9 to 43.7, and fuel use went way down to the point that I could have probably done stints of 19/19/19/19/22/22 instead of one more stop and stints of 15 laps.

Anyway, well done Stumbles. And Anon, I better win the earmuffs as a reward for not rage quitting.
