All good Bob. S*#t happens - I reckon I was a chance for a podium as I had been running quite strong at the front once there. Me and @emmo46 will just have to nail the rest of the races (LOL).
Dont think he has signed up. I know his checked the site out, but does more iRacing than Gt6 (when time allows!)
@N64TheStig007 If you win and arakasi is 6th you'll take it on a count back. If you win he needs 5th but if anyone but you wins then a 6th will be enough for him.
Mixed feelings for me after the last race, bit of good, some not so. first room was fine for me, then in the second ......... Disappointed the race had to start, not good for me or the guys i couldnt see. So....,suck it up, the race starts..... then stopped for late arrivals...... , race starts again, ... now i have even less, 9 of 15 on screen. So , sorry to anyone who was affected by this, but it was not my call. Thought the best way to avoid invisibles was get out in front, less chance of trouble if leading, and get on a different strategy than most. from then on i went on a balls to the wall, tyre shredding, 85 lap qually session, out of sinc with the main pack, constantly trying to catch up. i think it kept me away from most, ( i do remember feeling some door rubbing up the front strait about mid race, sorry somebody) and kept my pit crew extremely busy as i was doing 11 and 12 lap stints with no care for my tyres. Spun it coming out of the last turn avoiding (poorly) contact with 13 laps to go (to the delight of a few, i'm sure), so pitted again for fresh rubber to try and bring it home. came out of the pits 3/4 a lap down , boosted up to the wall of cars leading with about 4 to go , and took my chances with the gaps that came my way. I only had a couple of little dogfights throughout, but was still a good bit of fun Actually thought i had run out of fuel halfway thru the last corner , but in hindsight, i think i must have had my bumper jammed up Jono's wazoo. sorry if thats what it was @N64TheStig007 , not how i like to race people, glad i didnt turn you round Hope to see everyone at Daytona, will be exiting and re-entering if i cant. Only 6th , pretty tough for me in this field of racers, i would put my cash on yourself or grassies

Well that was one hectic awesome race from start to finish, non stop action all the way. Worked my way to the front battling with Jono for the lead with an hungry mob all over us, last lap, then bang, crunch , bang, spin, bang...... almost ended up in the infield. Hahahaha, was massive from my view. Stoked to limp home in fifth to grab the championship. Woo hoo. Well done Jono and podium, good stuff.!!! Congrats @grassies on bringing home the teams trophy as well!!!!! P. S. - hope there is another series , was lots of great fun racing Cheers,
well done Arakasi for the Championship and Jono for a couple of fine wins. I took myself out of contention again with a spin just before my last pit stop which put me too far back to get amongst it at the end. I would have finished right at the back except for being lucky enough to pick my way through the last lap carnage to take 6th.
Thanks for a great series. Thanks to my teammate @emmo46. Good fun and shenanigans, I found out after the race that my chassis was stuffed - that explains why I kept going sideways. Had a good run and was inside the leading pack at the end but couldn't avoid the last lap carnage. Thanks also for the patience in getting me into the room.
@stucar17, thanks for another great Nascar season, with you now on your way to PCars I might see if we can organise another series of NASCAR fun after season 8.
