What an awesome race!! Couldn't put 2 laps together without spinning in practice. Got a rather average start but still managed to pass 2 before T1 and somehow managed to pull alongside slayer down the straight and get the pass done going side by side into turns 4/5. From there it was 10+ laps of slayer in my mirror, I'd make some ground in some parts then he'd make it all back in others without giving away a big enough passing opportunity. Then I got all 4 wheels just off the track on the exit of turn 5 and coped a 5s penalty and slayer got by. My tyre pressures were optimised for storm conditions and had, had no practice in light rain so once that came along my tyre temps shot up to 120 all round with the right rear getting worked especially hard which saw my tyres get very worn and the car no longer wanting to go in a straight line from about lap 23 and making slight corrections with the controller is particularly costly on your lap times and the likes of Ragoo and finchy quickly caught up. In the end I managed to bring it home in 4th 1s shy of the podium.
For future races the difference in weather conditions between thunderstorm and light rain is too large if there is to be no pit stop to adjust tyre pressures. The tyre of choice in light rain would have been inters had the car offered them.
