ok just tried Silverstone 100 with the same setup I used for the League race and the front left goes off the charts. 152 degrees lol.

Make sure your Abs hasn't turned its shelf off. You could keep locking and not realize in this car

I'm having no issue with my temperatures

I have really had a run since the update but did notice my ABS was saying it was on but wasn't so turned it off went back out and turned it back on and it came good

My abs seems fine it's on.
This is really troubling, I can only do a couple laps practice before I have to go to the pits and put new tires on.

Update - It really is a bug. During a free practice session the bug randomly turned off and my front left tire was perfectly normal.

My post in the Project CARS forum :

"OK I think I have found the trigger for the bug!
After the game decided to fix itself in free practice after a pit I reset my playstation to see if the bug would come back again

Started the game up and went straight back into free practice with exact same car and weather/time settings. Everything is still fine. Tires were at optimal temperature for many laps (15 or so). Then I remembered when the bug first started for me. It was when I entered a race weekend.

So I exited out of free practice and entered a race weekend. 30min practice and no quali. No rolling start. Same weather/time progression as free practice. In the weekend practice session everything again is fine. Did roughly 7 laps or so. Satisfied that the tires were functioning properly I skipped to end of session to start the race. Within two laps my front left tire had already started to overheat at 125 degrees and rising rapidly.

Not sure what the trigger is yet to get rid of the bug as I have tried entering and exiting the pits in free practice multiple times to no avail. Still have the bug at this point."


Im hoping it fixes itself by tomorrow night and it doesn't pop up for me in the race. I might have to spectate

Maybe it's an offline thing. Finchy, nige, beeza and myself haven't had any issue whilst we have practiced together.

Came out late Friday night I think ads so everyone should have it.

Yeah my times are pretty solid. Was doing consistant mid 1.21s and flat 1.21s every now and then
