Being on the receiving end of Season 14's Turtle beach prize, my 6 month old Turtle Beach P11's will be made redundant. They are an awesome headset and sure beat my crappy mono bluetooth headset. The sound is awesome and nobody says they can't hear what I'm saying so must be ok there too. As you can see by the picture, they have seperate controls for Chat and Game volume, and the mic can be switched off.


Ultimately this event is mainly for anyone who does not have a headset, but anyone can enter. A lotto will be drawn for all eligible competitors who compete in the event.

Ok so Anon gave me the idea of using the Hyundai Genesis Coupe with a "Push To Pass" style configuration using NOS! The NOS will be set at MAX and it will be at drivers discretion when and where to use it. Use it all at once early to try break away or use it sparingly to work your way through the field.

I'd like to keep it as a non-tuned event to keep the cars as equal as possible, so a Power and Weight restriction will have to be implemented I think. I dont think you can restrict tuning with NOS fitted? Could be wrong.

Track I'm thinking will be the full Brands Hatch circuit (the long one) or possibly Trial Mountain. Also tossing up between a single 20-25 lapper or 2 10-15 lap sprints with reverse grid. I'd like to get this up and running ASAP and as yet am unsure of what day of the week to run it.

Don't forget to vote on the track if you're interested in racing. We'll do a colour code for drivers with and without headsets so you can see who you're racing.

That'd be handy will have to check if it is classed as non tuning.

Oh and don't worry about my s#!t connection hopefully someone with a good connection will join and we'll do fixed ownership.

Yeah this event will be a hoot. Hitting the NOS is so addictive, I drained the lot in 2 laps in a practice race. Put me down, I'll do my best to get on the grid. I don't need a headset, but I do need NOS baby!!!

PS - I have owned a set of these ear-warmers and trust me they are top notch, just don't let a child trip over the cord when you are wearing them...

Hmmmm not a lot of interest. I thought for sure the free headset would get them flocking in?! Oh well I'll keep the post going for a while. If we don't have enough for at least a 10 car grid it's probably not gonna happen . At least not a prize event anyway.

At this stage with the influx of new entrants it will be either a Wednesday or Friday after first week of league races. Maybe the 2nd after state of origin?

If there is nothing else on tonight, I would like to get a room open and do some testing. If I'm allowed?? Her indoors banned me from the lounge room, so I set my new rig up in the study. Then she decides to work from home so I keep getting kicked out of the study - apparently I'm too noisy, and keep using the apparently vulgar term "BJ"!!?? (She's says I'm not getting one...
