What... How can you do a BOP update mid quali?

He pulled this stunt for the MWM LM3hr last year. Filo loves this thing unreasonably much, and it hurt watching it be so fast when it was a very expensive LMP2 IRL.

And I feel like a BoP update can occur right up to the race really. As stated it doesn't mess with anyone who has already set a lap, and it nerfs Jono's own car so doesn't seem too unreasonable. The physics update pushed back progress and having been in Jono's shoes regarding racing the clock to BoP a class, I'm amazed he only had to tweak 4 cars by 1 point each.

Would you be more angry with the BoP change before qualy, or after it when you didn't get pole anyway? (If Filo doesn't get pole I'm calling Ford GT level sandbags). 3 cars were buffed in the update, the host is taking the same BoP change as you, and none of the changes affect what has already happened. If it did, I have no doubt that Jono would have offered those affected a chance to re-qualify, however it did not, and he does not need to.

@JonoStan96 with track limits being a thing, and people can easily abuse them, Will people have to submit videos of their best lap?

Cause if I see someone cross the line on a lap where they run 30 meters off, I’m straight lining the last complex

Ran Gold in GTPES, but meh... lower tier of Gold really.

You can try but the game will take great pleasure in auto warping you back to prevent cuts. Same for the Mulsanne chicanes if you try to straight line them. I'm still mad that the game warps you automatically on all settings if you go places it doesn't think you should, Interlagos is another example.

Its worse when you have a genuine accident and have gone somewhere you shouldn't, lost out from the accident get going again and then you get warped back to woop woop. Willow springs is a good one for it to.

Then when you expect to be warped back while in no-mans land in Willow Springs infield somewhere, it won't do anything.

It’s in everyone’s best interest to put in maximum effort in qualifying without cheating or sandbagging especially after Monday’s last chance room when rooms will be sorted. Will be different to Bathurst.

Damn, so I was just about to submit my lap then realised it only shows when "START" is shown on track. Can I submit that?
