Hey guys, I thought I'll give making a event a go. There's no better way to get pumped for the 12 hour than to have a race ourselves for 3 hours on the Friday 6th. I know the schedule is a bit tight in the early part of this year with Vardz having his own 90 min race at Bathurst on the Sunday, but we may just squeeze it in. Tuning will be allowed and to bring the the field a little closer together, I've decided to put in a progressive ballast system for the drivers in top 3 divisions in the Sunday League. Starting at 90 kg for Div 1, 60 kg Div 2, 30 Kg Div 3. Adding 30 kg of ballast increases lap times by just over 0.4 seconds. Cars will be all the GT3 machines Note: Bop figures may change Date: Friday 6th February Scheduled Start: 8:30 PM Qualifying: 8:20 PM Lobby Setup: Practice - Endurance Duration: 3 Hours Start Time: 6:00 AM Time Progression: 4 Tyre/Fuel Depletion: Normal Tyres: Racing Hard only Tuning: Open, (without extra added parts) Helpful hint - It's best not to perform an oil change to maintain max power for the race duration. Light damage.... track is to long to have heavy damage....if you off into Griffiths its along way back to the pits and accidents do happen especially with the closure rate on conrod when someone is limping back to the pits... I am in.... will be great practice for the final race of the HTO series
Sounds like fun, have put out the call to a few of the local boys about forming a couple of 2 driver teams. If this is allowed.
I would personally like to have full damage as well, but as Vardz pointed out, could pose some issuse. It would have to be a unanimous for heavy damage. Yep go for it, any pairings with a Div 1,2 or 3 driver would half the ballast.
I'm In. If tuning is allowed the R8 might be drive-able round the mountain. What about adopting the parity that PD have implemented in the quick matches. seems to work fairly well
Yeah I'm in, February will be chock a block full of enduros with this one and the one at Sierra! @MINT_GTR BMW or NISMO team?
Yeah sounds like fun. Probably stick with the car I'm already driving in the GT series, so the Schulzes GTR.
Sure im up for it, love my enduro's! @pykeybraa145 wanna tag along? I wouldnt mind seeing if i could master an Audi finally!
@VARDZ Keen to tackle the the team phoenix R8 ?? Gonna see if I can tame the beast. @warrior2167 Half ballast for the lower div driver or both???
I've done some decent testing and Some cars can gain more time than others from tuning, There all very close I believe, but if there is still a difference with some. I'll adjust the performance. It will be the average between the 2 for example Driver A from div 1 + Driver B from div 4 would carry 45 kg
Please add @Blindman as well, he and @AOCleaner74 will be a team, I will co drive with @freddyp_33 At this stage we will all be in a Merc. Teams may change to suit the rules. Freddy and I are div 5/6 while BM and AO are div 3/4. Cheers
BM and AO are div 2/3 you must have forgotten that you were the only Pro State Racing Team Member not to win their division last season
