Haha awesome top stuff good work You will have a grin ear to ear with finland just stupid amounts of fun lol Quick Tip for everyone,new physics has made ffb a bit light with the reduction of aero and codies is already working on a fix for it so for now if driving v2 cars just boost in game 10-20% on all ffb sliders for a more solid experience
Yea I had a grin just from getting that shifter to work! Noticed the FFB straight away (as I repeatedly crashed into the wall at Monaco!) I found I ramped up just suspension and tyre slip by 10% to get the old feel back. I tried turning up self aligning torque, and wheel/tyre friction as well but turned them back down - the friction values I did straight away as they just damp the FFB which makes the wheel harder to turn but actually damps the FFB response as well. I was bummed to jump into the 2010s Ford Fiesta... I had a nice bank of setups for each location for that car having done a masters champ in it, which the game said are no longer valid and deleted! The new default felt good, better than the old one though.
Well I tried the events and did poorly lol I was crashing alot in the first stage whilst still playing around with my ffb and having never tried that stage but silly me thought I could just continue through the season then at the end still have 5 days to retry and ve better prepared nope locked out haha did do much better in the last two stages which I had everything set and had ran them once or twice before subaru seemed so slow for some reason then when I drive it in custom events not sure what was going on

There's a great interview from one of the devs on the latest PlayStation Blogcast (ep 202 skip to 57m) Love the guys passion, he was saying how he actually bought an old Subaru and went to rally school to get a real feel for the game.
Just had first crack...wow. I was all over the bloody shop, but it feels authentic. Worth a bash for sure.
Definitely picking this up when it's on sale, $99 is too steep atm especially since I just paid off AC and a little bit of No Man's Sky. However this game looks the goods, not often you can say that about a title from Codemasters.
I have been getting into it again on pc, one of my friends said it looks like the dark souls version of racing games haha. I've been doing the Dirt Daily events, here are a couple of replays.
