    um sorry to get in between the heated discussion, but I wanted to apologise to all in div 1 for missing sundays race, I had some unfortunate family business to attend to and only got back yesterday afternoon, I will be there next sunday...... with no tc :)

    Totally agree with this point especially for division 1 racers. In fact I would like to see us all limited to no ABS also. Hopefully PD will add this into the restrictions in future updates.
    But, tyre wear aside, we all seem to accept that TCS will ultimately slow you down, so I'm not really too fussed.

    Perhaps we should get this thread back on topic and save the regulations discussion for a more appropriate section of the forum (either in a new or existing thread, I think there are already some that have touched on these issues).

    Will be good to have you back on track Infidel. The Div 1 field is stacking up to provide close and enjoyable racing. I definitely recommend you check out the replay from last week.


    We'll have to be especially careful at Eiger over the jump on the main straight. Contact here can quickly see and innocent driver facing the wrong way!

    A quick note about Eiger, I played a public lobby of it the other day and at the start I caught abit of grass on the right, over corrected and went shooting into the pits on the left. I was lapped by the time I got out :lol: So yea gonna have to take it easy of the start, if someone gets bumped into the pits im sure they will be annoyed.

    hey all, unfortunately with my work roster for the next month made up, i have to work sundays...so i'm resigning from the current season...hopefully by the time the next season comes around i'll have sundays off..

    That was an eventful race, will need to watch that replay. On the whole most guys kept it clean on such a demanding track. Personally I have an intense race, after qualifying second, my burst of speed didn't last and lost a place to finish 3rd, then in the reverse grid race I had a pretty mediocre start but just managed to come through for third again.

    Congrats to paulie and koastr for 1st and 2nd.

    Koastr can you post up the preliminary results when you get a chance.

    Hey Outta you were right, I did have a 1'12.573 in qualifying. In fact, I had two 1'12.573s in qualifying. :lol: Quite a crazy race, I didn't like the idea of using Eiger and I was right ;). That said I'll be glad to take the round victory (whether that be outright due to having the fastest lap or shared with Koastr), good racing from Outta, Koastr and lost-on-drugz.
    I'm still dismayed to have come 2nd in race 1 but in the end I guess it doesn't matter. If I hit my braking marker at turn 1 race 1 I wouldn't have been in that position, and then to need to re-dress what I considered to be a dirty overtake on Outta finished my chance of a win- that and binning it on the last lap to avoid hitting Koastr. :x

    I'm looking forward to Autumn Ring and am so relieved next week is a break as I'll be hitting the town for my cousin's 21st birthday next Sunday. Autumn Ring could really throw some curve balls, I have no idea how the Tamora will handle that track, and overtakes can be constructed for corners on end before the end result.

    very good racing, forgot to change my colour from blue to Titanium Metalic so sorry for that. A little argy bargy but not too much, apologies to sidfire1(lap2) and natmanscoop(lap10) (both race 2) for unfair nudges, was very intense racing! had awsome 10 lap battle with xnever_enoughx in race 1 think I lost 10 kilo's in sweat!!

    Cant believe my fastest race lap is .4 sec off my qualifying time and annoyingly .001 slower than the fastest div 2 (well done stumbles!).

    Carn, I cleaned up your clean up :D. I added Beau back in, because the table looked funny missing the winner of the first race.

    um, why did I get 6 and 6? I come 5th in both races, and i got faster best lap time than lost by like .003

    I have listed the points finish for each race. 5th position awards 6pts. see the wiki http://wiki.gtleagueoz.com/index.php/Season_3#Scoring_System

    Then I've tallied your points finish for an overall score and placing across the two races.

    Yes you did. But your unique score of 12pts puts you in 6th position overall irrespective of lap times.

    It was xNever_Enoughx and Lost-on-drugs that were tied for 5th position overall on 13pts each, both with highest finish of 4th, and thus decided on fastest lap.

    No probs. Just edited the laps standing. I had all the times right, but just moved Natmanscoop up the list.
    Yea I too am struggling in race to match my quali times. Last week I was more than 1s off! :oops:
