where is this RA+ menu thing everyones talking about? i thort the only place u can change settings on your car is in the settings but u cant in our race. so how do u change the brake bias.cuz i did it practice (a-spec ) and it was much easier to stop into corners but couldnt do it in our race room.

anyone want to share? ;) please

The ra menu is a setting menu that you can access during the race. On the driving force gt steering wheel, the red dial and arrow buttons are for the RA menu but if you're using a dualshock to race you'll have to go into controller setting and customise the button layout so you're able to use the menu, because by default the RA menu buttons aren't assigned to any buttons. I hope that makes sense lol.

As Overdrivve said, if using a DS3 controller, you need to set up the RA+ controls, and it means you lose some of the other functions. I'm back to using a controller (until I can get a new powerpack for my G25), I set it up like this...
Left stick "click" to turn the menu on.
Up and Down on the "D" pad to select which function you want to adjust (you can change TC and ABS as well)
Left and Right on the "D" pad to raise or lower the desired function (TC, ABS or Front and Rear brake bias).

Setting it up like this, I lose the horn function (no big loss), but I also lose left/right/rear views (which sucks a bit, but I have the rear vision mirror so I can see whats coming up behind me).

    :)

Congrats to div 2 for the best turnout this week. We had a few connection issues in div 1, but still wasn't going to get close to 14 running racers.

Also F1R3W1ND, always practice in an online lobby for race conditions. Don't practice in arcade ;)

Yeah it's complete bull:):):):) that GT5 doesn't support the G27 for configuration purposes. I use a G27 myself and most of my buttons do absolutely nothing.

Hey guys great race on sunday, I got a bit of a suprise from the start too, with some peeps getting off slow from the line, going to be practicing Eiger after weds nights GT series, so I don't make the same noobish mistakes that ocured during the Grand valley race, I was really struggling to keep the car from understeering, am going to try with out ABS and see how we go with some rear bias for the brakes..... great battles though, and sorry to those guys whom I did slow down in the main field.... I have a tendency of making my6 car 20ft wide when guys try to pass (and fighting for position of course ;) ) looking forward to the battle royale this weekend.....hoping I can improve and get in the points, that would be nice :D

Yer Jontank you were pretty wide i had some good battles with ya, it took me a while to get round you then i ran off. Only thing i ask if you run off the track and come back on and some one is coming up considerably faster dont change line to block. Me and Barra (i think it was) were flying up behind you on the straight after one of your offs he got passed and when you moved over i had to quickly change lines near the end of the first straight right on the breaking point, with these things on the limit i had no chance to get it under control. I could have hit you but didn't and swerved and lost control. Alls good though, it was good fun battling with you, the driver has the right to defend their position just not when they have just returned to the track and are a lot slower. I'm sure we will have some more great battles and look froward to it m8.

    Check this out.

I have a g25 and used a picture I found in a google search for my button mapping, then set up the buttons I wanted using the Driving Force Pro controller configuration option. The picture is here also
    http://community.us.playstation.com/message/30477740

Should be more or less the same for your G27.

No the G27 doesn't let you map the buttons like the G25 does, sucks for you guys!!!!. For my G25
I use the R3 button to bring up the RA menu and the directional pad up down to scroll and left right to adjust, it wouldn't let me use the circle square etc buttons for any of the RA assignments though. I also got the hand brake on the wheels R2 button and rear view on the L2. Look left and right are on the shifters buttons circle and square.

Hey Bonus, those 2 trips to the kitty litter really stopped your progress. Not to mention how you got there. Hope your racing is back up to normal next week, need to have my old Div 6 buds with me. Prefer in my mirrors though.

All my fault the kitty stuff, need to tret my red beast with a bit more respect. I could see you up there, was on my way there a couple of times just not good enough i guess. Got my breaks fixed on Friday (no more sticking) thought i would be back up with you, bit more practice yet hey. Had a bad start again i was adjusting my break bias when i noticed i had left traction control on, adjusted it and was scrolling when race started, got going and adjusted breaks just before first corner went on inside real good but got held up a bit then went off a bit later and back to last. Had some good races all race though so still had a lot of fun, all good clean fast racers here, season looking real good fun stuff.

Neishy had a shocker of a start with the false start thing holding him and then we had to get around him without tearing up our cars. As usual, I was too polite in letting people through. The unluckiest start would have to be anon666 who qual 3rd and lost it in turn 1. He made his way up and down a few times and it was one of the things that made the race interesting.
