mine worked ok last night after i stayed "in car" till i got past the freeze point which was always the same. (about 3 mins in)
Shiiiiiit! Due to my sister being a complete knob, I'm unable to race this Sunday! She went and booked dinner on Sunday night for mother's day when I specifically told her to book lunch. Sorry lads, was really looking forward to this one as well! :-(
I was gonna come here and post that I'm going out on Sunday, and that depending how it goes, I might not be available. As in, I have the option to continue to swoon at a girl at a function, or I could come home and play GT6. It all depends... HAHA But, I feel a bit more obligated to race now.
My sister is a knob too sometimes, especially when she goes on YT while I race, making my lag even worse!
im in a bit of a situation where I might not make it either I left last year and one of the girls I used to like a lot asked me to have dinner with her on of course sunday night 7pm im gonna try and convince her to start a bit earlier so I can make the race ill see what happens and leeboy that sucks I just love that leeboy crunch and myself may not make it due to girls getting in the road ill find out tommorow and ill give u an answer as soon as I get it
Lol, don't know whether to say "enjoy guys" or "keep your pants on lad" !!! In can host if the others don't make it. We will need to know by 7pm at the latest so guys can get organized. Pretty sure I have everyone on my friend list but will check anyway.
N64 what modem/router are you using? Are you able to block (or restrict bandwidth) to individual MAC addresses? Unfortunately only some brands/models give you the access to do this. If so, you should be able to find the MAC address of the device she is using and then block/restrict it between 8pm - 10pm. It will certainly upset her (and perhaps your parents), but it should give you a trouble-free Sunday night of racing Otherewise, another easy way would be to change the wireless security password on the router just before 8pm. Then change it back to the normal password after the race. This will mean that any device that is set to "automatically connect" won't be able to because the passphrase won't match.
I would like to know how to do this. Must check my settings, I have a billion with a billion settings, just need to figure out how to use them??
Anon, not sure which model Billion you are using, but this guide (using a 7800N) might help. http://royatkins.wordpress.com/2012/09/29/blocking-access-to-the-internet-using-mac-filtering/ By doing it this way you can setup times that specific devices can access the internet and restrict specific times they aren't allowed on - and once you've set it up once it just runs by itself so you wouldn't have to do this each Sunday night (for example) OR, if it is easier, just change the wireless password each time you wish to restrict wireless access - and set it back to normal once you've finished racing.
Bit of discussion out the back , and by various members, that this weeks round should be postponed for a week due to mothers day on sunday, and quite a few drivers unavailable because of it. We are looking to postpone for 1 week, we will make a decision by tonight after a few of the mods are spoken to. Stay tuned.
