Turned out his lag was a line issue between his place and the exchange,he's getting repair done and compensation from TPG for lost net time. See,it is worth making a phone call to your ISP if you can't solve issues yourself!
Was going along nicely in 3rd place on sunday, and thought i'd be able to hold it,but then my bloody brake started sticking intermittently and i was screwed, kept losing 5 or more secs per lap when it did it,and giving me zero ability to fight anyone that came up behind, aaarrrrggggghhhhh!!!!!! lol Surely my lucks got to change for Grand Valley.
This was posted on p13 of this thread Round 6 Drivers Briefing. 1. Be mindful of track limits. On the call on grassies,i thought Stu has enough going on as it is,without dealing with obvious ones like that. I only said something as i was only 2 cars back, saw it & noticed grassies wasn't going to redress.
Thanks Emmo. I just double checked the numbers and it looks like I have a 21 point lead over Jim going into the last round if you drop our worst rounds. I'd like to claim the title but if Jim wins at GV and I finish anywhere less than 12th, the outcome may be different. So, practice, practice practice for me over Easter!!!
The best score Jim can get is 122 with a win and FL, he then drops 9 points as his dropped round leaving him on 113. If you finish 10th or lower you will still be on 114 taking the title by 1 point, you don't even have to race at GV because that nil score would be your dropped round and you would finish with 114. So don't sweat over practice practice, you are out of reach.
Thanks Emmo, I never doubted you!!! . You've just freed up some beer drinking time over the Easter break
