The original drifter if you want to go crazy! I’ve updated my setup on stracker after a few laps last night... it’ll still kick out if throttle is put to the floor too soon on some corners... This car does teach throttle control

Ohh the Escorts. My times are getting down but no where near the top. Love em. But cant seem to get the heal and toe going to shift down right but getting there.
Yeah between the Escort and the Old DTM’s they really force you master it... Though you could set auto blip to on in settings if you so desire.
Yeah tried auto blip but seem to loose a bit of time. Have to modify my throttle pedal pad so i can H&T easier. Just feel as if im loosing a little speed withiut H&T. Have to say i like the Straker page. Being able to compare my lap v the fastest, areas i need to work on are the brake points and a better line through the Hairpins. Not sure if theres 5 seconds there but mayb 1 or 2 sec. Its good fun trying anyway. Really like Assetto now compared to when i left. Some good Mods around as well, im gonna get sum of the DLC packs as well.
While H&T will help it also comes down to timing the downshift to be late enough to not over rev but early enough to be before you're turning in and even holding a higher gear through a turn where possible.
That seems to be my biggest issue. I brake too early and then drive to the apex for turn in, but its all about learning. Yeah just bought a few DLC packs, ill get a few ea week. Im gonna get stuck into some skins as well.
