So putting a gps on a push bike and doing a lap of Catalina while it's still there! Love the idea of galston gorge too! the idea of doing Eastern creek, Wakefield, PI, Winton, Morgan Park..... Awesome local series.
Hard to believe that this thread is nearly 18 months old and still this feature is not in the game. It had better be something real special. Here's a road in Glenmore Park myself and @razor4797 have had a lot of fun with. Narrow, twisty lanes with no oncoming traffic to worry about until you get to the roundabouts can create an awesome driving experience. What's even better is at each end you can turn around at a roundabout, so potentially it can make a great time trial track.
I will make a prediction that its still 12-24 months away, released about 6 months before GT7 is about to hit the shelves....GT6 will be the test platform for it, and they will then port it over to the new game once they know it works....thats if we get it at all.....
I walk 4km to school every day so I'd want to create that route and then see how fast I can get to school and back!! If I ever leave my lunch at home, just pop in an X1 and get home in 40seconds flat Other cool ideas however would be creating Motor-khana circuits, Gymkhana courses, rallycross if we have terrain options? The options are endless!!!! *Until PD Ruins it and limits it majorly*
I certainly hope that's not the case, after all, it's the feature I was most looming forward to, and it even says in its slogan: The World is Your Track. It needs to be released soon.
I found the most epic corner in Perth recently. On ramp from Mounts Bay Rd to Freeway North. Can pretty much floor it from the lights, almost 180 degree loop (probably about 150-160 degrees) and it is uphill so the camber is crazy good and pulls you into the corner. REALLY good fun
@Clevohead can you imagine a coast to coast run across Tassie? That'd be awesome. I hear there are some great roads in NZ too. Mountains and whatnot. Can you imagine if they utilised google-maps street view for mapping terrain? Gurgle!!
