Soooooo, thought I'd check it out. Can't even get into Options, it crashes every single time I select it.
This handling is completely different, the braking takes time to adjust there is no auto blip on some cars.
Lmao this game is awful. It literally has two things though for it: 1. Graphics. 2. Livery editor. Everything else is seriously sub-par.
have said all along since i tried the Beta...the physics were the same as GT6 and horrendous tyre squeal. I fund the FFB / feel was like a switch, either on or off...The oval in the beta was very ordinary IMO.... Looks beautiful though AAA for that. Unfortunately, if the game plays like the Beta on release, then its a case of 'looks like tarzan, plays like jane'
Am sure there will be a lot of people that genuinely love it. The simplicity of the set up was a great advantage compared to PC1, but that simplicity falls down when it comes to the road feel IMO. That said the PC1 wheel set up was a bit like trying to work out the code to open the reserve bank vault !
Way too arcady for me. Like Stu said, the FFB is awful, physics are awful too. It looks absolutely stunning though.
Gotta say, the general feel of the menus and stuff is still classic GT which is great. They still have ingame text chat, which I've always wanted. The game/track options are easier than ever to get around. The great thing is that they have a whole bunch of penalty options like hitting the wall, cutting track, hitting other cars. SO that's great that can be drilled down into. The feel of the driving itself is very much still GT6-ish. Being so long since I've played that game, it *may be* a slight improvement? Either way, the ffb is very subpar when comparing to PC2 and even PC1. Edit: The 86 rally car is a hoot to drive on at Dragon Tail. Impossible to lose the car and you can drift it everywhere.
