PCARS GT3 Challenge

A low 2:07 is the best I can do in the Garton SLS , I'm trying a lot of stuff , some thing's work , other's don't.

OK it's the Audi GT3's turn for a makeover and really it didn't need much because I found it pretty beautiful to drive. I did however notice a bit of weird mid-corner understeer was a little disconcerting at first because the Audi has such good entry turn in. So I decided to focus on that little oddity and try and keep the Audi's otherwise great handling.



My results? I'm happy to say that it feels amazing now to me. It hits every apex just where you want and handles even better in my humble opinion. I was doing very consistent low 2.05.00 times with this. I was able to get a very quick 2.04.463 on a hot lap. If the Audi had a smidgen more horsepower it would be my favorite car out the GT3 roster now.

Increased front oversteer (through springs and sway bar)
Kept rear stable
Increased rear traction to allow earlier throttle application (lowered rear bump and rebound damping)
Dropped Aero a bit. Still handles skyline well and thus ends up having good straight line speed down the straights.


@fezza let me know if this is to your liking.

The last time I tried the SLS was when I was first testing all the GT3 cars and I remember it just didn't feel "right". I'm not sure what to do with that one from the top my head. I just remember it having horrible gear ratios for Bathurst and continued on sampling other cars.

Did you want me to have a look at it?

If you don't mind , I just had another go and can only manage a 2:08 5 tonight , Iv tried low down force , high down force , stiff rear , soft rear & it doe's the same time . or it could be just me .

Didn't get much time this arvo. So the tune for the SLS is not really up to scratch. I was doing fairly consistent mid 2.05.00 and got down to a 2.04.720. The car feels pretty solid. Still has a little too much understeer for my liking, but it's manageable. It's biggest let down are it's brakes. Takes forever to stop this thing haha. But it's straight line speed will make it incredibly hard to pass at Bathurst.

Adjusted Spring and sway bars for more oversteer
Lowered Aero to gain better straight line advantage. Still handles well through the mountain
Lowered dampers a bit to get better traction out of corners.

Overall a fairly nice car to drive, just struggles in the braking zone and has a smidgen too much understeer still.
