Oh wow... haven't seen one of these in quite a while! Can't believe you even have the box for it! Oh the days of blowing into that cartridge slot.. and the days when that single red button would slowly stop working and you have to press it harder and harder for it to register...
Oh the sore thumb Bump'n'Jump was the best racing game on the 2600: I remember sitting up all night with my best mate, and we got to like level 100 and something, and the game just never ended Jumping onto those islands were the worst
River Raid! That was one of the best! We had the console with the 20 or so built-in games coz we couldn't afford to buy many more games. That thing was our childhood !
Hmm, gunna show my age here... My teen years... Playing Wizardry on the Commodore 64 (with a disk drive... no cassette tape drive for me...lol).
Super nintendo was my console of choice as a kid, of course this is all super high tech compared to whats above lol.
I was talking racing, River raid was good, and pitfall was ok, I guess. You young whipper snapper! My gaming evolved as such with favourite titles in (Brackets): Atari 2600 (Listed above already) Commodore 64 (Hot Wheels, and California Games were awesome) Sega Master System II (c/w: built in Alex Kidd in wonderland, but Alex Kidd in Shinobi world was my favourite, along with California games again) Sega Mega Drive (Road Rash, Bubsy the Bobcat, and Toejam & Earl were the best) PS1 (GT1-2, and Syphon Filter) PS2 (GT3-4, and Tekken Tag Tournament - loved that bowling!!!) PS3 (GT5-6, GTAV, and Last of Us)
The master system I played a little as well but anything before I never tried, it was all Super Nintendo and mega driver as a kid untill the fancy PS1 just blew everything away.
