@Ad2mny can we get a clarification of what assists are allowed in league racers. Are driving lines allowed
I wouldn't mind having no aids on if the cars we are using don't have them in real life, would be great fun .
@Spidey_11 no offence taken and I am not having a go about what view people use or suggesting anything needs to be changed, the point I am trying to make is that they should be all on or all off. When you ask why certain assists are allowed you get responses like "stability control isn't' realistic or this is a sim and you shouldn't need it", I don't have an issue with that but you can't then turn around and defend using driving lines, having a hud because they aren't realistic either and it's hypocritical.
Don't ever mock the rainbow six name in my presence mate I'm actually really enjoying it. Matchmaking still needs a polish but I've found the shorter, get in get amongst it no respawns quite refreshing after battlefield. Those 5 minutes can be very tense knowing if you die that's it. Also team killing can induce a good laugh until it becomes a regular occurrence "cough, cough" @Sir Nige. I enjoy it though and it will consume some considerable time when full release comes. Shine me up IGN. Review game on point! Lol
Really guys? Come on, this is getting nowhere.... If you think the league should use no assist's, then turn your assist's off. If you want to run assist's, run with assist's on. There are guidelines on what can be used, and we all knew what assist's would be allowed well before round 1. If you think there should only be cockpit view, then you use cockpit view. If you want to sit on top of the roof to drive, then use roof cam. Seems like a seriously unnecessary debate going on....
Does it need to go anywhere??? Just some blokes wasting time and chatting about different things, I don't think anyone is arguing or demanding changes just offering their views. You don't need to read or reply if you don't want to......
on Pcars I run real aids/assists so if a car has that assist ex. GT3 cars have ABS and traction control it will run it In real life they run them so isn't the point of this realism and if someone prefers to run without it let them

You're taking this topic too seriously beau. No one has asked or demanded anything. Just our views on the subject. Personally i don't care what camera view people use. Hell i used to use chase cam years ago in gran turismo days. It's only been the implementation of the look to apex feature in this game where i have been comfortable to use the cockpit cam. Again use what assists you want or need in rooz sanctioned races. I leave my settings on real. But i would love to hold races with real life non assisted cars where the drivers aren't using car assists such as abs and traction control.
Guess it's just like throwing fuel on a fire. You know what's gonna happen but you do it anyway. Boredom is a treat. Next thing. Y'all must hate your jobs.
