Mate sorry, in hindsight should never have joined the lobby, Fri is a bad night for me to much going on to set aside 90 mins uninterupted racing, but trying to support as I know this is the only night some can race. Made worse as don't have that car so couldn't practice, never used Drs and it didn't work, and never driven without tc and 10 mins practice never going to be enough to get vaguely competitive. In reality I don't have enough natural speed or hours experience playing sims or time during the week to get up to speed to race more than one track/car combo a week. Tdz not sure there are any easy answers until the ps4 pcars community grows a bit more. I have no issues with damage as agree adds some consequences to mistakes. Sorry
Sorry Dave gave it right up until the last moment to join but the internet was being a true "Lewis Hamilton" for me for those who know my stance on him. Look forward to the next on if you decide to keep at it.
If the idea is to see what can be done with the game etc I don't get why we had to be so strict and ya know mics off during racing on an event thats just a test run, also no offence, but I don't blame some for leaving, some joined late, and were spinning all over the place, what fun is there in that for 50 mins cause the people who never had any problems never said anything did they, they didn't ask but nor did anyone offer to help it goes both ways I personally don't reckon there should be 'an elitist' tag for people who choose to race like this, like no offence to the guy who said having damage on is true sim racing, if ya don't have it on its simcade or what have you, as no one has ever really had a problem with the damage being turned off before I also don't reckon these type of events should be run weekly otherwise this community won't grow at all cause you'll get guys who will not bother with any other events, but the ones that have damage and assists turned off as these are where the 'real' racers are.. Just my opinions and I don't intend to get on the bad side of anyone
Also sorry I left, , but my car every so often would just do wweird like just spin out when I'm travelling down a straight line whilst it never happened an hr prior. I repaired my car 3 times cause of it, and by the 3rd knows what happened, the car couldn't reack 6th so ultimately I was learning absoultely nothing with my time, as how can I if the car is noticably slower despite damage being repaired, so I left sorry
Sign me up Dave, I should definitely be free for the next night of racing. Sorry about last week as well, I was cruising along pretty well in 3rd after a couple of early mistakes and the game had a glitch similar to what happened in the room at oulton park in the F Gulf a couple weeks before that and I disconnected, it was disappointing as I was really enjoying it.
