Good idea, the only reason we are doing qualifying like this is because zampli wont make the 8pm start I had planned.
Absolutely Joe! Do you mind fighting for an enemy in case someone can't make it? (I'd suggest painting it a colour that is not blue, maroon or gold)
Well we all agreed last night that this race will not be forgotten, there is a certain level of closeness, unpredictablility and competition in this event of which I have never seen before. All the fellas were gutted that we couldn't race thanks to PD's calamity, and we're pretty hyped for when we can get the chance to race in the S2000 again. For now, the race will go ahead in a fortnight, Friday the 23rd of August.
Hey guy's! Well i see your night did not go to plan as well! When i posted i last night that i was going to race i had just got back from a 10hour epic drive (800km) and was still buzzing about what i had just picked up - 30mins later i felt myself starting to slip away into sleep mode. What made me drive 800kms? - a brand new T500RS for $400NZ!
Well, after all the frustration of trying to get the SOO Enduro started last night we finally got a stable room and lot's of fun was had. We ran a series of reverse grid 10 lappers for the S2000 at Rome an it provided excellent racing, I'm looking forward to the enduro even more now. We then moved on to run the S12 NSX at Spa, Deep Forest, Monaco, Le Mans, Kart space and Nordschleife. A couple of Jono's mates dropped in and the whole night was a lot of fun. Do we have a couple of new recruits the Jono?
Bruce and tb both came up with an interesting idea, why don't we turn this "race" into a mini series? Considering the real SOO series has 3 matches, how does 3 races sound? Let me know your thoughts, and I'll have a think about the tracks.
If your gonna do State of Origin you've gotta do it right. Best of three rounds with QLD winning of course. As to the tracks, seeing as its SOO, and we are using a Japanese car, how about Suzuka, or Fuji, or Motegi, or tokyo.
Lol I'd like to have tracks where close racing is everywhere. Not many come close to Rome in my opinion, my fastest of a 1:03.6 is really only half a second faster than anything else I've seen, and the entire pack (which is a mixture of all divisions) can lap within 2 seconds of each other, consistently.
I'd also like to have a course maker track but I fear that they will be too technical for tight racing.
Hey tb what about the tracks we run at night i have jut about all of them but do not know how to set up
