I might jump on for this. Old PC rig gets its Video Card tomorrow night so gonna put off testing until that's up and running.
Was going to try and have a drive tonight so will join you. Just be rusty and might not last full distance.
we ran a quick race with the gt300s and it was incredibly close between div 1a-b-2 of which we had drivers for.
With it being most likely the last season of GT6 why not do it as a throwback season with 2 races each week (2cars 1track) no reverse grid with drivers favourite season as endruo I would probably even come back to the dark side for that season
we are looking at a season in GT300's with the slower divisions getting the faster cars. Did a practice race last night which @emmo46 won and we were all basically nose to tail the whole time Also looking at each night being a sprint round. My thoughts are full points for both races and reverse grid
Looking at the time @B-Spec Bob, and @Hatfield are getting I think the better drivers will be up the front where they belong. I doubt I'm going to keep up with the div 1b drivers like hat and BMW in the BRZ and I can't even stay on the track with the Garayia.
it might be worth putting all of div 2 in the rx7 see how much faster you are in the rx7 compared with the brz
@Hatfield I managed 2:07.760 in the BRX and 2:07.338 in the RX7. The RX7 is consistently doing 2:07.5s while I'm doing consistent 2:08s in the BRZ.
sounds like the rx7 would be a better div 2 fit, at least for you. Might give some of the quicker div 2 guys an advantage but should do them some good to dice up the front What do you think @B-Spec Bob ?
I'd say the RX7 should only be available to those who were in Div2B last season. The Garaiya is more than fast enough for the rest of Div2.
The Garaiya is only quick if you can manage that snap oversteer trying to kill you every time you lift off or coast a mid-corner. It is one of those catch 22s where if you were good enough to manage the car you'd be in a higher division, and not drive it anyway. I'm not a fan of subjecting people to it.
