Season 3 - Radical SR3-RS Tuning Thread

If you work that one out please share. Did some laps last night, after 8ish laps the temps get to hot on the right rear adding more pressure didn't seem to help only made it oversteer more. I guess you could drive it at 95% too cool them off for a lap or 2

No you were barely into the 4's with most people in the 5's only one in the 3's that I can remember was beau.

Tested last night. Im 1.03.839 on half fuel.
Very hot rears still. Played around with pressures. No dramatic solution other then some tire management on the circuit

Try soften the rear springs and roll bar - let the rear suspension soak up more of the force than would otherwise get transferred through the tyre.

There'll be 1.01s in div 1 for sure by the end of the week, was doing consistent 1.02.9s 1.03flat last night with a best of 1.02.8 but at that pace I couldn't control it after 8 laps RR was up to 115deg if I backed it off a second they would cool back down. And could pick it up again

your in the wrong div if your doing 102`s

that being said i must admit i have a folder with all the track maps and car settings as such. does that qualify it as an addiction. :s

But i dont have a book of my lap times.

I have a note book i use to record fuel useage and current settings. And i tinker from that.

I try to get my partner to interview me after the races but she doesnt play the game lol

So..
Doing a race against AI at Sakitto
They do 1.02s.
Thats all good. So i monitored them as they went round. See what i could learn.

I noticed MASSIVE differences in there max power, torque and speed compared to what i achieve at the end of main straight.
Me:
End of main straight
Power
Me= 253
AI= 422
Torque
Me= 170
AI= 290
Speed
Me= 231
AI= 263

....learned me yee ol beatuful and wise Roozers.
What am I missing

Have u got them set in the race settings to identical cars? or are they in SR8s?

SR8s make 422 hp...

Im testing now. I noticed torque gains by opening the radiator
