    I think you misread what I wrote... - I agree the temp overnight can be drastically different (i never said anywhere that it didnt only that a 6 or 12 hour time cycle won't have as much temp variation), but I dont see that as a bad thing as it creates an additional variable which can affect the race outcome and something that people have to cope with in setup and in strategy - isnt that what endurance racing it about?

    +1 - its not a 1.5 hour sprint race with an optimal setup... its all about who can make the best compromises

    Umm why not just have a pit strategy set up with different tyre pressures so that when the night comes, you pit and your tyres are sweet. It's not like we have to use the same pressures throughout the race.

    For those saying that a 24 hour time cycle would require excessive pit stops to change tire pressures here is the temperature profile for the track chosen to be the enduro round (Should be announced publicly as soon as the finer details are confirmed):

    From the graph I wouldn't be pitting more than twice which is what will likely be the minimum number of pit stops set for the enduro round anyway. I'd be pitting around the 20 and 60 min mark. You have to remember that tires will cool as they wear and do have a good driveable range of temps from 80 to 105 degrees.

    yeah exactly, considering there is a compulsory pit stop, use it when the temps drop and have the cold weather set up ready to go.

    i guess the people that are around doing alot of testing will eventually work out which tracks are being used more than others. if you get on to help with testing its bound to happen.

    I will "try" to get the track list out tonight, or tomorrow guys.

    I do apologise for not releasing sooner however week 1 of term is always a huge week for me, hence my absence from the forum and the PS4 for a few nights :(

    That said, there have been a small group of us testing tracks and regs to try to get the best out this seasons options. Goes without saying that is is normally a massive job without all the options that this game throws at us. CAGME has been one of the testers (at my request) and along with a few others, the data they have acquired has been more than helpful.

    The good news is (in case anyone is worrying about an unfair advantage) i have done minimal laps with these guys, but my pace has been comparable, in some cases better, than the guys who may have done a few more nights on certain tracks. I believe that when the list is announced everyone will have ample time to come up to speed, and get their car tuned to suit.

    Stay tuned guys.....will have it released either later tonight or by tomorrow afternoon, we are 90% there on the finer regs.
