Due to the closeness of the race v road car vote, I will put up both road and race cars to be voted upon.

Top 2 will go through to the final vote. Make sure to try out the cars before deciding

Honestly, which car gave the closest racing between different level drivers? For me, it's not enough to just test them myself, I want to know which car is going to garuntee close racing.

SLS GT3 going by how the 'no practice' races went. We had a few more races afterwards with drivers from each division able to win a race.

I really don't think that car exists ben, maybe with boost but that isn't an option in this series. I have watched a bunch of the div 1 driver's laps in various cars over the last few seasons and they consistently find something in the cars (and tracks) that I never even get a hint of.
To imagine that there is a car that will make me faster while making the better driver slower is a bit of a pipe dream imho. Closer racing is more dependent on getting the divisional splits exactly right. This feat is almost impossible at the start of a season in a new car and the fact that it is as close as it has been is a credit to the organisers.

So after street tonight we tested some of the cars.

    SLS -RH
car is very stable and handles well. slight all round understeer

    XBOW -SS
lift-off oversteer which helps with turn in but can be difficult at higher speed. otherwise stable and easy power out of the corners

    rocket -SS
stable and easy power out of the corners. very happy with this car

    WSR senna -RH
seems to make you feel complacent as you get used to it then without warning the rear steps out and steps out BIG

    cappuccino -SS
feels a bit slow to start until you start pushing for those lap times. very stable and good to fight with multiple possible lines

didn't get around to the honda or bmw yet (although we have raced the honda enough to know it is good)

at the moment I am leaning towards the rocket or the cappuccino

Margin for error would be key for close racing. What separates drivers in the faster racing cars is the ability to push closer to the limits of the car/track without errors. On that basis it seems the Cappa would have an advantage.

Man this is a depressing poll to look at from someone who enjoys oversteery cars...
Yet I've voted for the 2 most balanced cars, who'd have thunk it!
