My garage for a weekend.. Both cars were on loan though haha Audi gave us a demo for a month (as we were waiting for our car to be delivered)... and the black demo (had 22km on the clock though!) was for winning a competition (but was only allowed to do 1000km, so did over 900 before giving it back)
Im pretty sure yes, but the one I had was the s-tronic. Love the blips on downshifts... but the RS6 sounds much better as it pops / crackles heaps more
First outing. Crap photo sorry. I think the missus still had vaseline on the lens from her portrait shots (don't tell her i said that).
Drives really well. It aint gotta win any drag races, but feels really good on the road. Gearbox is surprisingly notchy for something approaching 50 years old, and I love the feel of the mechanical clutch/accelerator compared to the 86. Edit: I should have said 60 years old of course, not 50.
A car like that just asks to be driven through the Adelaide hills Doesn't have to be fast just fun to drive through the twisties
Bought myself a new Econobox: New Mazda 2 Genki (Top model) with 6 Speed Manual got it for 21k. Needed a car that was good on fuel as ill be using it for UBER and be driving upwards of 70k Kms a year.
Mmmmm I do like the new Mazdas, can't wait for the new mazdaspeed 3 mps Miss the Wife's old car, was a bloody rocket.
We gave up waiting and just got a SP25GT (for the wife). Will definitely look at upgrading though when it finally comes out.
Nah, just a 1.5, but it goes alright as the car is really light. I hear there will be a 2 MPS in the future though.
yea we had to trade that mps in for a 2010 mazda 6 wagon, kids come along and all of a sudden you need boot space. Another one on the way too, so mite to invest in a cx9.
Got to drive this little beauty today. I liked everything except for the stupid gearbox. One of those clutch less manual type things, like a Renault Van. You drive along in auto and all of a sudden it's like someone hits the brakes for you then it takes 1 second to shift then goes again. Sounds great on part throttle downshifts though, it blips the throttle and gives a little pop. Nice ride.
