What lap times did you get ? I can open a room and invite the 2 peeps along and check it out. Or else come along Sunday and if your to fast we flick you back
I'm definitely in the wrong div for this car, but just happy to be running . I will probably be last throughout the season. With only 44 total drivers, would 3 divs make sense, rather than 3+1?
The spread was done using recommendations by the community to try and balance tighter racing. It also had the idea of hopefully preventing the dreaded drop off towards the end of the season, due to a tighter competition. If you're in the fight you'll want to stick around. Going tighter will mean a much larger spread of racers (based on pace and general division) within a single room. This'll mean that someone from a lower division ( say D4, trying to battle it out with a lower end D2 racer). This in turn means to people, why bother showing up if I have zero chance of even a top 10 position. This could be somewhat alleviated if we broke the rooms down to sub divisions, giving each sub division their own championship. Not discounting the chance that we merge rooms. It's highly likely that by round 3, D1A and B will be one room anyhow.
Firstly, I hope my car wasn’t twitching like that live. Didn’t feel like it to me at the time or on the replay when I watched it. We were never more than 50mts apart for what felt like forever and mostly around 1 - 3 car lengths. Great battle, good fun. Not often I get the better of you. So I’ll take that. Didn’t touch you on my replay but there it looks like a slight rub. Cheers mate
I dunno what happened on Sunday but the car didn't feel the same as in all my practice runs. In practice towards the end of the week my pace was in the mid to low 1:52s which would have been competitive on Sunday. Come Sunday I couldn't find it! And, how do you stop getting mugged at the start? I try not to be the person that cause the mayhem at turn 1 and always seem to come out of the worst.
The same happened to me I tried to stay out of the way, which failed horribly.... I went shallow to sneak in between the people on the line.... fails... I'm not sure.
