Now that we have the ability to run a couple of servers. It's possible to leave one as season practice and another for something else. So I figured it is worth asking everyone the question, What would you like on the server? What tracks? What cars? What server plugins? Private sessions? Anything else? I am happy to run and maintain a second server provided it gets some use. I figure the best way to do it is to run it how people want. So feel free to ask away.
Can we have a fun race night this coming Monday? As we had 2 weeks of practice for season 4 I thought it might be nice to have something different for the Monday before the start of season four. For example: Car: Lotus T125 (or something with speeeeddd) Track: Mugello (Well known official AC track) Quali: 3 Minutes, only enough for one flying lap. If you were on the podium on the previous race your not allowed to qualify; i.e. you start from the back! Race: Say 6 laps before quali again. What do you guys think?
I have done a config for this and I was just about to put it on the server but I have found Kuno's server browser seems to be offline at the moment. When it comes back I will run up the server and post up the details of the config
Ok the config has been changed to 4 Lap qual 6 Lap Race Abs factory TC disallowed Tyre Blanks On Fuel Rate 100 (meaning normal) Damage 50% Tyre Wear Rate 150% Dyanmic Track Track grip starts at 96% 10 Laps required to improve grip Session transfer of grip is 100% I tried to choose values that would work for a small'ish number of people. I haven't checked to see if qual is long enough. So if any tweaks are needed let me know. I ran a couple of laps. Having down force makes a big difference. Server 2 has changed over for a short race based on race one of season 4. ptracker is there for any teams that want to share setups
