GT6 [Completed] - 500PPJ Cruisin USA Coast to Coast

    This series will be held on the 15th of March for 500PPJ Jump Street cars and is part of the Rooz take it to the street series viewed here:

    Points will be awarded using the same system as Sunday league but with no dropped round.
    Start time around 8:30.
    Tyres = sports hard
    10 minute races


    Race 1 - Laguna Seca
    Race 2 - Big Willow
    Race 3 - Indy Road
    Race 4 - Daytona Road

    I would like to unlock the Citroen (will use the Celica as its faster) and grab a Ford RS200 '84 for this. I don't see it in the already taken list.

    What were the lap times at Daytona? I was sure I increaced my lead at the end and smashed my FL lap.
    Otherwise well done @Hatfield you cheeky bugger.

    I'll definitely be making a sequel to this event to commemorate the sequel to Cruis'n USA, this time with worldwide tracks.

    I was watching the lap times through the binoculars, hopefully I got it right. I DSCd so couldn't save the replay. If anyone else has the replay could they double check for me because if Jono did get FL then he would win the night on a count back.

    @Hatfield how close was that first race, start to finish bumper to bumper awesome replay, i would catch in the corners but damn that evo has grip and speed when we got to the straights, I got lucky that Bryan went off after he finally got passed me, same with Jono, he was giving me the hurry up right up my ass but he went wide up the hill and left me focus on catching back up to that evo. Somehow I managed to close the gap without using any nos and on the final lap I made my move to pass on the main straight, I knew I had him covered till the straight again so I saved my nos for the end and just had enough for the win, was a Heart pounding last lap,
    Race 2 got lucky with a 2nd place finish few people making mistakes but it's now very hard to keep up with a 40pp penalty
    Race 3 and 4 showed that
    Had a blast last night bring on next week

    I'm glad I don't keep a sledge hammer any where near my PS3. I was really gutted last night that it wouldn't let me compete at Daytona, the RX7 is a rocket there and I'm sure I would have run right at the pointy end. I enjoyed the races at Laguna and Indy where I was able to keep the leaders in site. The two tracks where I thought I would run best (willow and Daytona) were disasters for me. Hopefully I'll have better luck next week.
    I want to commend @Bryan_F for his skill, at laguna and Indy we were battling for position over the last few laps. He had an advantage on most of the corners but the RX7 would walk away from him down the straights. He would be all over me in the braking areas and through the corners but never once touched me. He even managed to get his nose in front coming out of the last corner at Laguna but was helpless against my withering run to the flag with the NOS I had left, well done Bryan. I really enjoyed it although I guess it was probably very frustrating for you.
