Looks like we'll have at least 20 starters (23 listed, but there are usually a couple of no shows or whatever). I'll need to ask for a 2nd host. Any volunteers? With regards to splitting the rooms, is everyone happy to go with names drawn from a hat to decide? Or would you prefer to be split by divisions? This car is easy to push hard so I think it equals things out to a certain extent. I'll post the calendar tonight, I've got it sorted just don't have it with me here at work! There are a couple of 'double headers' and an enduro round of sorts. The double headers are 2 races on 2 tracks with 2 qualifying session. Points total for that round will be the cumulative total of both races. I'll offer F1 style points, with a point for fastest lap and pole. We will use the GT6 P/Q/R format as it is more even and the bugs seem to have been ironed out. There are 5 rounds with the enduro being the final round. Let me know if you can host
I'll need someone to volunteer to host room 1. My connection where I am at the moment won't hold up. Let me know ASAP.
It's a pretty easy circuit to learn. It's the Indy version which is really short, not even a 50 second lap
I am in the same boat @SuiCid3 ... on the tight track that take 50 sec per lap i will see the likes of rotor and mint go wizzing past me putting me a lap down.... i guess that will be the battle, to get better so it doesn't happen
Just had a thought... with the cars being identical the distinguishing item can be your helmet and race suit. Get every one to list their's for identifying purposes if there is a report done.
I can host if need be lee... i have hosted a small league prior to joining ROOZ with 9 or 10 guys in there without issue. I can host a practice sesh tonight, I am sure guys are going to want to turn some laps and get as many as we can in to see how it goes.
I will briefly make an appearance if you open a room up tonight and then I will head over for more GT Academy practice
Awesome, appreciate you hosting mate. Practice session sounds good, I've done a fair bit, but always good to have a few little 5 or 10 lappers to see how it all pans out!
I'm really looking forward to this, I think there will be some really close racing. There are some tracks that give so much grip where you would least expect and you can shave so much time off! I only wish the F3 car would be made as a 'base model' so it could be painted and numbered...
Yeah blue and yellow dragon suit with matching helmet, matches my league colours. Edit: same as my profile pic lol
