No not the wife she use to codrive for him. I think it is 05 model. 180+ kW at wheels and over 750nm with restrictor on rally tyres.

What a beast. That's one of my dream cars right there. I'm thinking of moving on from my WRX though, maybe to an RS or something that can make power a bit easier.

Rs3 are crazy. He is a subaru guru putting new turbo on and removing restrictor before next run

Oh I would love an RS3 but I meant the Focus RS, the Audis are way out of my budget haha.

I know it isn't DR related but have any of you PC people tried out the simrallyfans Richard Burns Rally plugin? I finally gave it a go last night. Firstly, the install size is massive, the game was released 18 years ago and it took up over 100GB of storage. This isn't surprising considering the sheer volume of content that's been added, there are a ridiculous number of maps and cars. The install had a couple of hiccups but overall was pretty straightforward. The game menus are very old and can only be navigated with up/down/left/right, enter, and escape. The graphics aren't quite 2004 level bad, they are definitely improved but this will win no beauty contests. There's no in-game mechanic to adjust degrees of rotation so I had to adjust that in the Thrustmaster software.

The driving though? Oh man, I finally understand the hype surrounding this sim. The feedback is incredible, absolutely incredible. You feel like your steering wheel is connected to the wheels, and you feel so much of the ground's effect on the tyres and car. The weight transfer is awesome too. It feels more real than any rally sim I've done. In saying all that though, it is pretty difficult, I had many crashes unanticipated offroad sightseeing excursions. It's a whole lotta fun though, if you have a PC it's worth a look at.

Yes, I've been on RBR a little while and play it any chance I get. It even has VR support which is truly awesome.

Get joytokey software to bind the game navigation buttons to your wheel, makes it a lot easier.

There is a newly implemented feature to automatically change degrees of rotation in the RSF Launcher -> My Cars section, so you don't need to set that manually anymore. You can also tweak FFB sensitivity in there also.

Cubits has some great online rallies that I usually participate in and shares his setups too. Worthwhile to jump into the discord if you haven't already, very active community on there

@dj2ca If you haven't done so already, I highly recommend you try out the updated version 1.2.1 of OpenXR Toolkit along with OpenComposite. I honestly can't believe how much clearer and smoother the picture is in VR with these tweaks. Most noticeably CAS sharpening at 90% and turbo mode enabled along with FFR on custom, 55% inner 1x, 90% middle 1/4x, outer cull, horizontal scale 160%, vertical offset 10%. Highly recommend you give it a go

Yeah I actually have them installed, I just haven't used the headset since installing them. I'm going to test Dirt again and see if it's playable and I'll give RBR a shot too.
