Hi JAKO I'm trying to connect to the room for the race but i keep getting an error that I have a network incompatibility with the room owner (735). Do you know what this means
Sorry for pulling out but with a throttle that won't hold 100% on the straight at Fuji is a good reason for it. It looks like my throttle potentiometer is giving up the ghost but I don't know if I can be stuffed ripping the rig apart right now to fix it, let alone buy new pots. Will post back sometime this week as to what I am going to do.
Yeah good game Though the rush at that first corner by everyone really put me out of the zone I thought I was in lol. Btw, were there penalties set for that race? Leaving the first corner I just slightly nudged you JAKO and no 5 second penalty...I thought even the softest of touches meant a penalty? I 'think' someone rear ended me at one point and then went past me too which seemed odd. Nothing worth protesting over of course, but did anyone here actually cop a penalty? or damage?
Penalties in GT are pretty retarded, sometimes a slight nudge will give you a penalty, sometimes it won't. I forgot to save the replay so I don't have a record of everyone's fastest laps.... Also gotta say, this being my second season here I feel I can make a few observations right off the bat. 1. Second time around the mods got me in the right division, which is a good a turn around as one could want. 2. In reflection I should have put in more practice with the BRZ from S1...as I'm actually more comfortable in the McLaren overall. 3. Still frustrated by the lack of nuance in the controller. Maybe S3 I'll make the move to the wheel. Out of curiosity, how did tyre wear go for you guys? I recall my front left went down to 4, and maybe a 7 for the front right. Have to give a nod to the guys who worked on and selected the number of laps suitable to tyre wear at Fugi GT. Really helped by adding a nice variable into how one races.
Didn't experience any lag from my end even being tethered off my mobile.. Cable outage in my area for a couple of hours... probably due to the crazy winds atm. Anyone come across any lag at all? If not, then I'm happy to keep Jako as host and me as backup?
